Location The Czech Republic is in the
surrounded by 2 mountain ranges which surround the country that keep civilians
in and invaders out. The USSR controlled the former Czechoslovakia under
dictatorship, in-fact that was how the Czechs beat the Russians and split from
Czechoslovakia a former country that when it was in power.
Mountains
that border the country: The Czech Republic has mountainous
lands. These mountains create unusual weather from the inside. It also helps
creates a barrier from outside Thunderstorms. The mountains surround this very
small country. The Krkonoše Mountain Range, which outlines the North Range and
then slopes downward. This kept the country difference from Poland. Its highest
geographical point is Praded Peak. And the Hrubý Jeseník Mountain Range boards
the West boarder. The Czech Republic has some of the highest points in Europe.
The 3 major rivers cross each other and one river twice. This makes the cities
pretty resourceful. About ¾ of the lakes are natural created by
waterbeds and erosion. Government Since the Revolution in 1993, The Czech
government switched to a democratic form of government. This sort of thing makes
us proud to be what we are. When they were still apart of the Soviet Union, the
comrades that where against that sort of thing naturally created their own
fellowship. I was sure different from the strict silence that the Russians had,
yes-sir-ree. What is different about it is the Prime Minister (foreign
relations) is in command when the president is out of the country. The Prime
Minister takes both military and Vise President roles in the Czech Republic
Meanwhile if the president is in the country … he will work for the people and
balance the country's finances. I also take that the President uses advise from
a form of Secretary of State over there. Such examples are commending taxes,
vetoing laws, going to dinners, budget tax money, creating government programs
and so on. As you read on you'll see one of the Czechs government, even though
strong, is not completed and is dependant on Peace from other countries. The
country can win a battle but can't fight a war. The court system
is lacking only since there are only few places in the country to legally sue
somebody. But the court system does get by one way or another.
LAWS AND
FREEDOM OF THE PEOPLE Basically it sounds like the laws are
this the same as ours. Same police/ fire department management. But the country
is also different like the old Russian Government in that people pay heavy taxes
but get decent medical help, education, power (GDP), water, transit and welfare.
Yes your water comes from the government! So pay your taxes and live a good
life, or don't, and have a very hard time getting through it.
People
Czech Republic gets its
revenue from people working in industries. The country has a free market but
businessmen who are sick of the smoke in the country. The number one reason that
people are leaving, besides that its government, education is great. And since
Czech Republic is aging in technology and is only head of Russia only since the
contractors built factories much later. The country is loosing about 4% of the
population each year. Their senate is trying to find ways to bring people in the
country, but they can’t upgrade their factors without owing back. Right know the
Republic is generating 50 million dollars a year in taxes and interest.
People die in this country then are born. From WWII time when it
was still under soviet control. From the 1940s the country had 200,000 births a
year but in 2000 they have about 85,000. But taking that the country has only 12
Million people. About 1/6 of the population is born are citizens if the figures
are true. The average person lives a life until he is 65 then he dies. About
¼ of the population dies from lung cancer. The birthrate and
death-rate are the same. What’s cool in this country is that I’ve heard you can
marry someone when your 15, and you are considered an adult then. You can enter
the work force before college and earn a full wedge. If you don’t want too, you
can continue High-school until your 18. Then continue to college but 1/5 of the
Czechs that enter the education system get that far in life. This makes me fell
good. Only ½ the population is employed. This also excludes people
going to school. People who live in the Czech Republic are not
really different from the United States. The official language there is English.
They have the same music, trends, snow-boarding, education as many Americans.
Except that these people may not have 40 video-games in their house. But other
then that the average person there is like us. One ½ of
the country says that there is a GOD. About 1/3 of the country is Catholic.
Centuries ago, Czechoslovakia was worshiped by the Eastern Orthodox but two
monks changed that forever and brought Christianity to the Slavs in A.D. 360.
Attractions In Europe, the Czech Republic is
becoming a center for Independent European Films. The country has many Relics
still standing from the Byzantium Empire in 400 AD. Some of these include
national cathedrals and palaces. But the smog in the city is what condemns it's
beauty. Interesting Facts
