Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy <Dec. 27>

The new RPG from Naughty Dog (creator of Crash for Playstation) seems to be living up to its original theory. Can Naughty Dog put togetter another appreciated platform game before the end of the year. The answer is “ I believe they have put togetter a very nice title.” Remember those titles that only have one main character at one title whether it is a First Person Shooter or RPG or something. Daxter, Jaks right hand guy, which infact stands on his shoulder gives all these weird and annoying statements like one other game I know created by Crystal Dynamics. You guessed it Gex : Enter the Gecko for Saturn and N64. But Gex was only a half-way decent title to own. Other game that this game stole from was alittle of each Zelda and Rayman 2. Zelda Orchide of Time did a wonderful job in creating the game and stepping back to places that you already been. Rayman had the long lvls with cartoonish look to it.

Here is another title for you platform gorus', dispite it's odd name.

X-Men returns to Playstation <Dec. 21>

For those who have seen the movie last year, the X-Men are -- 'enjoyable'. Activision plans to release the sequel to X-Men Mutant Academy, X-Men : The Next Demintian on Playstation 2. The game will probably rank your average grade B fighter. The game is in 3D and will look better then Tekken Tag Tournement. However seen as a Playstation exclusive, the game lacks in polygons, unlike the new giants, Gamecube and X-BOX. --

Report on Star Wars Starfighter II --- Playstation 2 --- <Dec. 11>

Lucas Arts is working on a Starfigher sequel for Playstation 2. I was aware of the Special Edition port which was released on the X-BOX only a week ago. So far we know that it possible that the game starts on Episode II when Anciene Skywalker is grown up. The new game will release shortly after the 2002 release of Star Wars Episode II : The Attack of the Droids. Believe me, Episode II would of better named itself “The Phantom Menace Returns.” I don't know if the Manace was the Emperor or Darth Maul. The Emperor doesn't actually die until Episode VI. 'I know', the IIIrd title is called ”The Phantom Menace Returns Again.” It sorta takes the point out of Star Wars, what do you think?”

Is this Final Fantasy thing taken way too far? <Dec. 04>

NO, it's this has a unshocken background. I can't see how Squaresoft can make a multimillion seller under presure in 10 months, but they have. And they did it “9” times already. Fans of the Final Fantasy series go after the interesting storyline. But even though Final Fantasy 9 was the sequel to FFXII, the actually game took place sometime after FF4. The 10th chapter is graphically stunning running on Playstation 2. Chapter 10 will be as long as FF9 (Final Fantasy 8 was the longest of all, filling 4 disc.) Other then that the game has remained unchanged. All of the battlescreens stayed the same with the chance to retreat or fight without too many options. Japan is crazy about anime, and Final Fantasy must be the “cool” thing too own. Final Fantasy X is to appear this year and Final Fantasy XI is to appear next summer on Playstation 2. Its this A+ work, and no RPG fan can say that it's bad, because it isn't. The next title is going to come out with $5,000,000 in sales by sure.

Medal Gear Solid 2 top selling PS2 game ever <Dec. 01>

Metal Gear Solid 2, the long awaited stragedy title from Konami was released in Japan on November 29th. People say that it has become the single most bought game this year (in Japan.) On the launch date, game designers Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa personally showed up to sign autographs in the biggest electronics store in Toyko, Shibuya Tsutaya Electronics Store.
