"Next Mario platform game first title for Revolution hardware? "

Super Mario 128, a game thats was suppose to make Super Mario Sunshine run for its money could be developed not for Gamecube, but Revolution. This would make a lot of sense because Mario has always been amongst the favorite of fans and guarantees to sell millions of copies. The extra long development period could better the game so it will have better graphics and and profected gameplay. Maybe it'll be much longer than intended? Maybe? The fact is its unlikely that People will buy a Gamecube anymore just because it has Mario on it. The console is getting old although its much better built than N64 was. Revolution will defiantly need a flagship title thatll stun people and the project should go to revolution. Gamers who havent bought Gamecube still need to experience Super Mario Sunshine for themselves (although its not the greatest game in 2002, it does come above average as far as platform games go. With Jak and Dexter released the year before (and Ive played this game than wrote a review ) and that has put a dent in Gamecube titles.

"Nintendo President comments on the possibility of Gamecube games being developed beside Revolution"

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata tells a currently unknown Japanese newspaper that they are still going to make Gamecube titles in 2006 after Revolution is released (only the code name) is released. Could this mean that Nintendo is making software that Revolution software could be ported back onto Gamecube.or even the other way around. Gamecube software could be ported to Revolution effortlessly using software that fully supports Gamecube titles much like how UnrealEd 3.0 used in Unreal Tournament 2004 can port UT2003 maps just by the simple click of the import button.  It is rumored by underground Gamecube programmers that this new revolution platform will be able to play Gamecubes Dol files which means backwards compatibility. If not one the system port, Nintendo plans to release a Gamecube Player that runs Gamecube mini-disc just how Gameboy Player allows you to play Gameboy and Gameboy Advance titles on TV. Gameboy Player isnt an emulator, it is actual Gameboy Advance hardware designed to work with Gamecube.

"Nintendo announces their Revolution

After talking about the Nintendo Duel Screen, Nintendos first handheld capable of 3D, Satoru Iwata (Nintendo president) is working on the Revolution project told IGN.com that they were working on an a console thatll compare well with the next Microsoft console and be released at the same time as Sonys new console, the Playstation 3.  The new Nintendo will change the way we play consoles at least thats what Nintendo says it too be. The new console will have 512 MB of RAM and an advanced ATI chipset. I really dont think itll be a revolution, seeing how Sony and Microsoft have handled their consoles in the past. I read this article on BroadbandReports.com and theyve got a great discussion on what Nintendo is doing right, and what the company is doing wrong. More when Revolution information comes available!
