Playstation 3 a hell a lot of money

 Sony announced that Playstation 3 will be expensive when it first comes out, perhaps 600 dollars, because of the new technology it processes. Sony R&D (research and development) is developing a processor that perhaps may be the most powerful of next generation consoles. Internet sources including CNN concluded that Microsoft will want to release Xenon first before Nintendo and Sony. IBM, whos first consumer contract outside the PC arena was Nintendo, will be manufacturing the Cell chip and motherboard for Sony’s playstation 3.  Sony hasn’t confirmed if Nvidia will develop the graphics processor, rumored to be 256-bit at over 500 MHz, or if Sony will find a Japanese manufacture, NEC for an example, will make the chip.  The agriculture may be so different than PS2 that Sony will emulate PS and PS2, which would defiantly cut the costs in adding PS2 hardware to the already high profile prototype.
