Some things I've noticed
-Harry's parents and Sir Nicholas de Mimsey Porpington all died on October 31st (1981 and 1592 respectively)
-JKR uses similar adjectives to describe Crookshanks and Mundungus Fletcher (bandy legs, ginger hair, squat, squashed)
-Harry's mother Lily,  Dumbledore in days gone by as well as all of the Weasleys have red hair.
-Harry's mother (lily) his aunt (petunia) Draco's mother (narcissa) as well as many other prominent female characters have names that are also flowers
-The "Avada Kedavra" curse produces green sparks
-The "Stupify" charm produces red sparks
- Wizard Money
     >1 Galleon = 17 Sickles
     >1 Sickle   = 29 Knutts
     >1 Galleon = 493 Knutts
Some questions I have:
**NEW QUESTION:**
- Where are the Potters? As in, Harry's paternal grandparents... And why has no one ever mentioned their demise. The constantly talk to Harry about his parent's death, why not his grandparents? And why has Harry never asked about it? And for that matter, what about his maternal grandparents, the Evans'? Were they also killed by Voldemort? Is that why Petunia hates wizards so much? Why weren't the grand parents around to stick up for baby Harry against the Dursley's torture?

- How old are Mr. and Mrs. Weasley? Unless my timeline is wrong (it's possible I suppose) the dates don't really seem to add up. the older weasley's being born in the late 60's but Molly talks about eloping the last time Voldemort was powerful, which was between the early 70's and early 80's

-Why can't curses be performed with a speech impediment, but they can still be performed while the caster is under the silencing charm? For example in OoTP, when the DA is battling the Death Eaters, why is Nevil unable to produce any spell with the broken nose ("Stubefy") yet the death eater who had been hit by the silencing charm ("Silencio") was still able to effectively carry out his spell?

-The Fat Friar is the resident ghost of the Hufflepuff house because when he attended Hogwarts, he was in Hufflepuff. BUT, most Christian religions denouce witchcraft, so if the Fat Friar was actually a friar, then what religious affiliation did he have in life that allowed him to be both a wizzard and a friar
--
Something pointed out to me... many Christian religions denounce the existance of ghosts at all... so just who is this "fat friar"?

-OK... what was Barty Crouch's (disguised as prof. moody that is) Motivation behind teaching the students to repel the Imperius curse? Was it because his father kept him under the Imperius curse for so long? See, I would think that Voldemorts greatest supporter wouldn't want to teach the new generation of potential Voldemort Rebles how to ignore the imperius curse... So why would he make sure that Harry potter of all people was skiled at fending off one of the easiest methods for a dark wizzard to control someone... Hmmm... made you think didn't I?

- In the movie version of Azkaban, just who exactly was that new kid in Gryffindor with the old gang. I mean theres Harry, Ron, Neville, Dean and Seamus in Gryffindor in their year, so who was that new kid? And did they seriously think we wouldn't notice a new kid, especially when they give him the super important job of explaining what Grimms are? At first i thought, "Maybe they just got a new actor to play Dean"... but no! Our old Pal Dean is still there.

Some Horcrux theories...
We know for sure that there have been 2 Horcruxes found and destroyed
(1) Peverelle's Ring
(2) Riddle's Diary
There are a few strong maybes
(3) Slytherin's Locket, possibly taken by Regulus Black (R.A.B) and hidden in the House of Black OOtP pg 116 (scholastic)
(4) Some living creature. Dumbledore thinks maybe Naigini, or maybe it's his own body, or Harry's body.
It seems to me having one artifact from each founder would be a good idea, leaving
(5) Hufflepuff's Cup (along with S's locket)
(6) Gryffindor's either sword or the sorting hat.
(7) Something of Ravenclaw's. Going out on a limb... what if the opal necklace is Rowena Ravenclaw's former possesion?
I like this theory, and I know it contradicts what Dumbledore said, but he also said the sword was gryffindor's only known relic, and we know that the sorting hat once belonged to Gryffindor as well. But check it out, with this theory, the horcruxes are split between relics of both his maternal and paternal wizard families. Then also one relic from each of the founders of Hogwarts (the locket overlaps, making it twice as important)
One of himself in the past, the diary. Then this fuzzy possible 7th horcrux... Could be anything Wormtails' new hand, his own wand, something of his fathers, Naigini, Harry, his own body...

Let me know what you think.
