Ointments:  1/2 to 1 teaspoon of tincture
                    1 ounce of commercial skin oil
                    mix and store in a small clean jar
                    store for 3 - 4 months
     
or          2 ounces of dried herbs
                    16 ounces of petrolum jelly
                    combine in a double boiler and heat for 2 hours on low
                    cool slightly and then use a cloth to strain herbs and squeeze
                    jelly into a jar
                    sotre 3 - 4 months refrigerated

Salves:  1 part double strength infusion or decoction
             1 part oil
             1 ounce of beeswax
             a few drops of essential oil either benzoin or myrrh
             a few drops of fragrant essential oil
             combine infusion/decoction and oil in a saucepan over medium heat
             until all water evaporates (should be reduced by half)
             melt beeswax in a double boiler
             stir beeswax into herb/oil mixture and add essential oils
    
or     1 ounce of beeswax
             1/2 cup of oil
             1/2 - 1 cup of dried herbs
             same essential oils as above
             melt beeswax in a double boiler and stir in oil
             add herbs and cook for 2 - 3 hours
             add in essential oils and strain
             store up to one year refrigerated

Baths:   to a normal bath add 600 ml or 1 1/4 pints herbal infusion which has
             been strained

Creams:  7 parts infusion or decoction
               2 parts oil
