This is designed to invoke the Goddess into the consciousness of the body of the person peforming the invocation.
Do this each full moon as it is a very potent tool for merging with the Goddess.
Assume the star postion {arms and legs straight out so you resemble a star}; either standing up or laying down, immediately following the invocation.
You will need: a flower
a bud
a leaf
3 white candles
incense
a cauldron
a bell
a small bowl of water
Place the 3 candles so they form a triangle large enough to enclose the cauldron.
Set the incense near the base of the outer center of the triangle.
Position the bowl of water at the tip of the triangle and put the bell next to it.
Place the flower, bud and leaf in the cauldron.
Cast the circle and call the quarters.
Ring the bell 3 times over the cauldron.
Take the leaf and dip it in the water.
Annoint your left nipple with the leaf, followed by your right nipple, then genital area and once again your left nipple.
Saying: "By sacred leaf, bud and flower,
I invoke my lady now this hour,
I call upon the Goddess of the Moon,
come ye now to the bell's gay tune,
maiden, enchantress, mother and crone,
with my body now make thy home."
Ring the bell prior to repeating the invocation for annointment with the bud, followed by the flower.
Place the items back in the cauldron after the annointing.
After annointing is completed pour the bowl of water into the cauldron.
Dip your left hand in the cauldron, annoint yourself as you did earlier then immediately assume the star position and chant the names of the Goddess three times: Selene [sah-leena], Pertunda [pur-toon-dah], Diana [Dee-anna], Hecate [hek-ah-tay].
Take three deep breaths, visualize yourself as you might imagine the appearance of the human form of the Goddess.
Remain in the star position allowing thoughts and feelings to come and go of their own accord.
End the ceremony by placing your fingertips of both hands in the cauldron and annoint the three power centers
Say each time: "Retire now, my Lady, into the night;
relcaim thy home of sacred light;
amidst the stars and sacred moon;
'till the bell dowth sing it's tune."

Perform a grounding technique
Release the circle and the quarters.
