LOOK INTO MY CRYSTAL BALL!!
I think just about everyone I have ever talked to has already been to or is planning to go to a psychic.  I mean let's face it everyone wants to know what is in store for their future.
Sometimes people just want to know the easy stuff,  you know:  Will I find love?  How many children will I have?  Should I change my career?
I have always gone with the idea that forewarned is forearmed.  If you have a half an idea what your next day or next month have in store for you won't you be prepared to handle it better.    If you have an idea that something is going to happen in your life that perhaps you can change for the better, wouldn't you want  to know so you can try.
I can't say with any amount of supreme knowledge why we are  shown  somethings and yet not others.  I think there are  just  somethings we are not meant to know, certainly there are somethings we can never change no matter how much forewarning we have.
I think of the number of people who open their newspapers everyday to the Horscope section, even a generalized horscope like that can often times be fairly acurate.
Wiccans use various types of divination methods which I will outline for you here.  Practice and use the one you feel most  comfortable with.
Divination Methods:

Tarot:
Probably the best known and most  widely  used method of divination are Tarot Cards.  They come in many different types.  Study the deck you feel speaks to you most.  Each card has a different meaning both upright and inverted.  After asking for blessings the cards are suffled until the person receiving the reading asks the reader to stop.  The cards are picked according to which reading you will be receiving;   such as week at a time or Celtic Cross.  The reader will translate the meaning of the cards for you.

Runes:
Runes are an alphabet script from first century to the Middle Ages.  They are now used as a tool of symbols  for divination.   Most runes are carved into wood, clay or stone.  Runes can be used with the same lay out pattern as the Tarot deck.  You take the ruins in your hand and scatter them for a reading.

I Ching:
Divination by the casting of coins or  yarrow sticks to be built in a series of six lines called a hexagram.  Each line is then interpreted.  The advantage of I Ching is that it gives you an understanding of your options; unlike Tarot and Runes which give you an understanding of your circumstances.  Each line is either Yin which is female and passive or Yang which is male and active.  The resulting hexagram is referenced in the I Ching itself.

Hydromancy:
This is divination by water.  The most common method for Wiccans for this type of divination is to light a couple of candles and place our divining bowl on your alter.  You should dim if not completely shut off any artificial light.  Look into the water and say what is on your mind.  Then sit quietly and wait for the answers to come to you.  They may come as glimpes or fleeting thoughts.

There are literally hundreds of types of divination including phopethic dreaming, scurying, numerology, palmistry, astrology, augury and clairvoyance just to name a few.
I have only mentioned a few here, it's an endlessly interesting subject which bears further research on your part.
