Damiana (turnera aphrodiosiaca or diffusa)
-use  dried leaves and stems
-strengthens hormonal and nervous system; aphrodisiac; natural laxative; relieves anxieties and
  depression especially where there is a sexual basis to them
-capsules 1 three times a day; infusion 1-2 cups daily; tincture 1 tsp. three times a day; extract 10-30
  drops in water/juice daily

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
-use leaves and roots
-leaves-help relieve PMS bloating; used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure
-roots-stimulate flow of bile for liver and gallbladder; may prevent cancer; good digestive aid; may
          reduce amount of sugar in blood
-infusion 3-4 cups daily; tincture 1 tsp. three times a day; docoction 3-4 cups daily

Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens)
-use roots
-anti-inflammatory for arthritis, rheumatism and gout; blood purifer; expediate the elimination of
  uric acid; treatment of liver and gallbladder problems
-capsules 2-3 three times a day; infusion 1-2 cups daily; tincture 1 tsp. three times a day

Dill (Anethum groveolens)
-use seeds
-effective all around digestive aid; used to treat painful stomachaches in adults and children; good
  remedy for flatulence and colic; may increase milk flow in nursing mothers; may prevent urinary
  tract infections; sometimes used to treat colds, coughs and flus; can clean up bad breath
-seeds chew 1 tsp for bad breath; oil 1 tsp in bath to prevent UTI's; tea as needed; infusion 1-3 cups
  daily; tincture 1 tsp. three times a day

Dong Quai (Angelica senensis)
-use root
-allow you to feel more comfortable in general; relieves gynecological problems such as scanty periods,
  irregular periods; PMS; relieves symptoms of menopause especially hot flashes; may prevent anemia;
  lowers high blood pressure; treats insomnia; relieves constipation
-capsules 1 three times a day; tincture 1 tsp. three times a day; extract 1/2-1 tsp. twice a day;
  tonic 1 tbsp. per day in tea
