In Dreams..........

This page is a story I'm writing that was inspired by Sailor Moon, namely Usagi and Mamoru's romance. I admit, it's not the best story written, probably wouldn't even be a good fanfic if I wrote it that way. But it's my story and I wanted to see if anyone'd actually read it. So here we go....sweet dreams............

It was very dark in the empty high school cafeteria. Allie wasn't even sure how she'd gotten there, or why she was there at all. She couldn't remember anything, but she didn't have time to think about it. Suddenly, she was aware of a presence all around her. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, Allie could see dark, tall figures several feet away from her, on all sides. She didn't know why, but she felt they were threatening.Very threatening. Before she was even aware of it, Allie began looking around for something to fight them with. There was nothing near her, except for a few folding chairs and a table covered with small paper cups filled with Jello. Allie wasn't sure where they'd come from-- she hadn't noticed them before. Suddenly Allie realized the figures had begun to close in on her. Without hesitation, Allie began picking up the Jello cups and throwing them as hard as she could, one by one, at the approaching offenders. (It didn't occur to her until later, that most people would have chosen the folding chairs over the Jello. It was instinct, she thought later on.)
As Allie threw the Jello at the figures, she realized they were disappearing as they were hit. Soon they had all disappeared, and Allie was alone.
Allie stood in silence for a few seconds, trying to figure out what was going on. A movement in the doorway caught her eye. Allie jumped slightly in surprise, but this presence didn't scare her. Another dark figure stepped from the shadows of the doorway, into the moonlight. Allie gazed up at him. He was young, but still older then her, and much taller. He wore a mask over his eyes, but Allie could see how blue they were and how kind they looked, as they sparkled down on her. His hair was thick and black and touched the collar of his white dress shirt, which was neatly tucked into his black pants. Allie didn't wonder where he came from, or who he was. She couldn't have answered those questions out loud, but somehow he was just so
familiar. She knew him from somewhere. Somehow, she knew him.
He smiled down on her then, his deep blue eyes sparkling a little more.
"You saved me..." He said, his voice low and pleasant. Allie felt chills go down her spine at the sound of that voice. It was warmly familair, too. He stepped a little closer to her, and she suddenly felt a rush of warmth all over.
"You're the one....I have been searching for you..."
Allie opened her eyes to bright sunlight. "Oh,no!" She moaned, closing her eyes tightly again, trying to bring back the dark, the moonlight, and most of all....those blue eyes.
But she was awake now, and as her mind registered the sweet memory as only a dream, Allie suddenly felt so disappointed she almost broke down in tears.
Allie sat up, sighing deeply and brushing her long hair back behind her shoulders. She glanced at her clock and gasped. "I'm going to be late!"
In her sudden rush, Allie never noticed the white rose on her windowsill. A cool gust of wind swept in and the rose fell to the street below........
