Sergio has been exposed to music since he started playing guitar at the age of 5, though his first real musical training was not until the age of 14 in a high school marching band. He spent his first year of college at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania with a heavy concentration in music, being his first exposure to music theory. In Nightstand, he plays rhythm guitar and covers vocals. He has been with the band since its first days of musical darkness. Though he spends most of his time away at college, he is always active in creating new music and lyrics for the band.
