Songpan
A small village in northern Sichuan Province.  It was once under Tibetan rule, so some of the people still dress and live in the traditional way.  Out of respect for their beliefs, I didn't photograph them or their costumes.  These are a few of the pictures I got of the village of Songpan before my camera froze -- probably a good hint that I shouldn't have gone on the horse trek.  But what memories I have.

P.S. I saw a yak at this monastery.  I didn't get up close out of respect to the monks, but I have officially seen a yak.  ha ha ha
