Jackal

Jackal stands nearly 1.8 meters (5'11") tall and weighs an easy 109 kilograms (240 lbs). He arms are a pack of dense muscle. His eyes and his large, flat nose slope downward, giving him a wolfish appearance. His pupils are a dull grey in color while his hair is black, slightly shaved at his temples and curled in winding spikes, then tied into a ponytail. Jackal often sports the Blackheart's colors wherever he goes. He prefers a synthleather jacket with brick-red sleeves with a large, black heart patched on the shoulders.

Jackal, an ork, maintains tight control over the Blackhearts. He dislikes his gangers betraying the gang more than anything else. Most of the gangers grant him fear and respect because, at one time or another, Grim pulled each member off the ground and offered them a home with the Blackhearts. He has maintained control of the gang since it was formed over five years ago. He has a gift for leading them and has seen the gang through some hard times. He also dislikes any large syndicates coming into his area. Likewise, he expects a certain amount of dedication from the gangers. He makes sure they know they all have their weight to pull. He also makes it a point to treat everyone equally, trying to avoid favoritism. Though he does put more trust in his close friends, relying on them to guide new members into the gang and help them understand the life they have chosen. The one group that he hates the most is the Humanis. Years ago, during the Night of Rage, his family suffered at the hands of anti-metahuman protestors. Since then Jackal has never trust people like them and harbors a contempt for their beliefs

Jackal's family use to be a happy middle class group. Most had a steady job at one of the large factories or in the shiny corporate halls. Then the awakening began. Most of Jackal's family, around 85% were goblinized into orks or trolls. It wasn't long until they lost their steady jobs and corporate positions. Times turned hard and the entire family was forced to move to a neigborhood of Redmond. Money was hard to come by, so most of the family lived together in the same building. Making it the hall of his clan.

The Night of Rage hit Jackal's neighborhood hard. His home was burned to the ground and six family members were beaten to death. Jackal, who was born in 2035, was only four years old at the time of the riots. The Night of Rage served only to lower his family's hopes even lower than they were.

By 2054 Jackal was fed up with his life. He tried to seek out something new on the streets. Though he soon found the streets to be no better than anything else. It was on the streets that he met a group of street kids. The group eventually banded together to form the Blackhearts, a small group of street kids who were more for breaking and entry and car thefts than anything else

Since then he has seen the gang through a number of hard times. He has also formed lasting friendships with those unfortunate enough to find themselves out, alone on the streets
