I don't feel so alone anymore! vangiekitty DELICIOUS.......DISTURBING part 7(I think, I'm losing count!) Jean's musings on the indefineable something that still existed between Logan and herself were interrupted as the large vehicle they rode in abruptly swung off the main road and headed down a dusty, rutted track that lead into the forest for about a half a mile. Carefully parking behind a large stand of trees, Logan anounced, "This is it, we're here." "I don't suppose "here" has a bathroom or hot shower facilities, does it?" asked Jean. "No, but there's plenty o' handy bushes and a river about a quarter mile that way." Logan said, pointing directly away from the direction they'd come from. "Oh Jeeze, I forgot how much I hate roughing it!" moaned Jean. Logan grinned, "Get used to it, Darlin'. That's how it's gonna be fer a while, ya know." "I know." she sighed. "Well, let's set up camp quickly so we can fix supper. I'm starving!" "I'll second that, Darlin'" Logan replied. Soon, the truck was unpacked and the igloo tent, looking much smaller than Jean remembered it, was set up. Logan had proved surprisingly adept at building a fire and cooking their freeze-dried provisions so Jean just let him handle supper and the headaches that came with it. Logan made it look so easy. There wasn't much talk between them during the ensuing meal, however. Jean guessed that her scent was affecting Logan again and she noticed him trying to sit upwind of her as they ate. All the same, she could see his nose twitching and she was fairly sure he was not sniffing the re-hydrated dinner so appreciatively but rather herself. "Got to take a bath." she told herself. "A cold bath in the river will be just the thing to calm me down. And mute my scent, maybe." she thought half hopefully. Aloud she said, "Logan, could you point me in the right direction to get to the river? I've been in these clothes all day and I'm dying to get a bath and change." "Sure, Jeanie. I was just thinkin' the same thing myself. You go one way and I'll go another. Plenty o' twists and bends in the river. For privacy, ya know." he added. Jean nodded to show she understood. "Just let me get my stuff and show me the way." She ducked into the tent as she spoke, meaning to get the necessary items. But a quick rummage through her duffel bag proved just how halfhazard her packing job of the night before had been. "No bras." she muttered to herself in dispair. "And no panties either! What was I thinking?" Apparently not much for it turned out that all she had packed were socks, sweatpants and shorts. "How could I not pack even *one* sweat shirt or t-shirt?" she moaned to herself. "At least I remembered my toothbrush and toothpaste." she noticed, ruefuly. "I may be topless but I won't forget to brush!" "Logan," she said, emerging from the tent. "Could I possibly borrow an old t-shirt or something from you? I was, um, kind of upsett when I packed last night and it turns out I forgot quite a number of things. I can't wear this sweater anymore." She indicated the thick wool cableknit which had seemed such a fine idea that exceptionally cold morning. "I'm roasting." "Sure, Darlin'" he replied easily. "My bag's still in the back of the hummer. Take whatever ya need. What's mine is yours. The clothes are all washed, just fresh outta the dryer this morning." "Thanks, Logan, you're a sweetheart." she replied gratefully, going to rummage in his pack. It struck her as kind of odd that he would mention all the clothes were clean. What kind of person would pack clothes that weren't? "Oh," she told herself, "A man would, of course.Maybe he's just trying to reassure me that his scent won't be in the clothes." Then why did it sound more like he was trying to reassure himself? She pushed the thought aside. Time to stop thinking nonsense. "Well," Logan said, stretching and peeling off the flannel overshirt which he'd been wearing over his t-shirt, "I'm off in that direction, Darlin'." He indicated the general direction of the river. "Follow a bit to the right when you're ready and you should have a fine, private place for a bath. Think you can mannage?" "Sure, Logan, not to worry. I'll meet you back at the camp site in about half an hour, OK?" "All right, Darlin'. If you come on any trouble, just yell and I'll be there in no time." "Thanks, Logan. I'm sure I'll be fine." He turned and walked in the direction of the river. Jean thought she could hear it babble faintly under the crunching his feet made in the leaves and underbrush. She was about to follow, having found an old, white cotton v-necked t-shirt which she thought would be comfortable enough to sleep in, when suddenly it dawned on her that she hadn't brought a towel. Not one. She reflected that this was surely the worst prepared she had ever been on any trip she'd ever taken in her life. "Serves me right for letting my emotions get in the way of logic." she thought, feeling vastly superior to herself of one day ago. Still, all the superiority in the world wouldn't dry her off and she was willing to bet that river was *cold*. Logan, man-like, had only brought one towel and had taken it with him. Glancing around a bit desperately for something to dry off with when her icy bath was done, Jean's eye happened to fall on the flannel overshirt Logan had so recently discarded. "Well, he'll probably put it in with his dirty clothes, anyway," she reasoned. "And he *did* say to take whatever I needed, so I'm sure he won't mind." Scooping up the shirt, Jean ran lightly to the river, anticipating a refreshing bath. It was early September and still warm during the day but the water, as she had expected, was freezing. Still, Jean waded out past the shallows and into the current that rushed past her chest. She relished the icy rivulets that tickled her naked body and tugged at her legs strongly. Her teeth were chattering by the time she was done but she felt utterly refreshed and renewed. The evening air outside the river seemed possitively balmy in comparrison to the chilly water. Jean stood on the rocky bank drying herself as well as she could with Logan's flannel shirt. Actually, it didn't make such a bad towel and she even mused idly to herself on why they didn't make flannel towels as she rubbed the soft material briskly over her shivering body. Giving herself a final rub, she turned to the question of getting dressed. Her familiar sweatpants were warm and comforting but she found to her dismay that the shirt she had borrowed from Logan went beyond baggy and into saggy and revealing. The v- neck was much too low for comfort, framing her breasts rather than concealing them. Jean wasn't sure what to do, but in the end, she had to knot the shirt between her breasts in order to keep it in place. This, of course, caused her cold-hardened nipples to poke prominently out through the thin, white cotton, but she reasoned it was better than flashing Logan constantly through the v neck of the shirt. "Besides," she thought, "I bet I haven't been out here *that* long. I'll probably beat him back to camp easily and then I can hide in my sleeping bag." But when Jean got back to the camp site and crawled into the tent, she found Logan was already there, doing his best to look relaxed in a pair of old jeans and a zip up sweatshirt. It was mostly unzipped, however and she could see his muscular chest with it's thick mat of hair and the flat, hard stomach beneath. Jean quickly looked away from the tantalizing sight, only to see that Logan's eyes were also averted. She looked down and realized with deep embarrassment that despite her care, the shirt had become unknotted and her breasts were clearly framed in the deep v of the sagging shirt. "Oh, God! Sorry!" she exclaimed, and quickly knotted the shirt up again, this time more tightly. She could feel her cheeks burning and she couldn't help being concious of the way her nipples poked sharply against the thin cotton and the way Logan couldn't quite keep his eyes off them, though he *did* try. "I was gettin' a little worried about ya, Jeanie." he said in a low voice. "It's gettin' kinda late,ya..." Suddenly he broke off and sniffed the air between them suspiciously. "Hey, what's that smell?" he asked and abruptly reached across the tent, (not a very long reach at all), and grabbed her bare arm. He sniffed up and down her arm and even into the hollow of her throat, raising goose bumps along her skin, before pulling back and demanding, "Why do I smell myself all over you, Jeanie?" Jean was taken aback by his acusing tone. She answered meekly, "I forgot to pack a towel so I used the old flannel shirt you wore today; I didn't think you'd mind. I'm sorry, Logan, here it is if you want it back." She tried to hand him the limp, damp bundle of flannel. but he flinched back from it and turned blazing eyes on her. "God, Jeanie! Why do ya have to make something so hard that much *harder*?" he nearly shouted. "What? I don't understand, Logan. I'm sorry if I offended you, but I'll wash it as soon as we get back, I promise!" "It's not the damn shirt, Darlin'." he said, tensely in a lower, more controlled voice. He looked at her in wonder. "You really don't know what you've done, do ya?" "No." Jean said curtly. "But what ever it is I'm sure it didn't deserve *that* kind of reaction. You want to explain my dreadful *faux pass* or just yell at me all night?" "You rubbed my shirt all over your body." he accused. "That *is* what one generaly does with a towel." she remarked, icely. "No, you don't understand." Logan continued impatiently. "Ya marked yourself all over with my scent." Jean remained uncomprehending. Logan ran a distracted hand through his spikey hair and tried to explain further. "You're marked with my scent. You smell.... Oh Hell, Jeanie! Ya smell the same way ya would if we'd.... had sex." his voice dropped lower, in a kind of agony. "Ya smell like you're mine now. But your not, Jeanie. You're not." His breath puffed out in a huge sigh. "Look, Darlin', all the scents in this confined space... it just about unbearable. In fact, I gotta get outta here for a while. I'll see ya later." Abruptly, Logan got up and left the tent. Jean called after him, "Wait, Logan! I didn't know, I'm sorry. When will you come back?" She sat for a minuit on her sleeping bag feeling confused and a little angry. How was she supposed to know not to use his shirt for a towel? Not like she did it on purpose! Abruptly, she decided to follow him and try to explain. Staying here cooped up in this stuffy little tent wasn't doing her any good either. Logan's spicey scent was every where. It seemed to make her feel....strange. Jean took off in the direction Logan had gone and had no trouble following his crashing descent through the underbrush. At last the noised stopped and all she could hear was his ragged breathing. She peeked out from behind a concealing clump of bushes and saw Logan leaning back wearily against the trunk of an anchient oak tree. He stared, unseeing, up past the branches and into the starry sky above. "Jeanie," he moaned aloud to himself, "Why can't ya understand what ya do to me? You're drivin' me over the edge, Darlin'! I can't take it!" Suddenly, Jean heard the metalic purr of his zipper being released and saw that his errection was free of his jeans. Though she knew it was a private moment, she couldn't look away as Logan stroked himself rapidly. Despite her recent urges,Jean knew she had little experiance in the sexual arena. But even to her inexperianced eyes, Logan's hardness seemed huge. Of course, she had only Scott to compare it with but even so.... She had to wonder how...(she blushed) How in the world Logan could.... *use* such an appendage? How did he make it *fit*? The thought caused a delicious throbbing between her legs. She realized she was getting worked up again, worked up at the thought of Logan...but she couldn't finish the thought. But finished or not, it made her blush harder. At last Jean saw him climax and he sank with a groan to his knees. "Jeanie, I can't keep this up!" she heard him mutter. "It's the third time today!" "My God," Jean thought. "Scott could barely manage once a week and Logan has already, only today.... There must be something to what the Professor said about dominant genes!" But she pushed the thought away immediately. If the Professor was right about one thing, he might be right about *everything*. She couldn't even consider that, to do so would be to admitt herself lost forever. "Gotta stop this." she heard Logan mutter. "Gotta get back before she comes lookin'...." "Oh no!" her thoughts were suddenly panicky. "He *can't* find me! He can't know that I saw... that I heard! As quietly as possible, Jean scrambled back to the tent and crawled into her sleeping bag, closed her eyes tightly and pretended to sleep. blush even harder.
