I am creating this site as an assignment in a Dreamweaver class and to share my interests in historical costuming, especially from the last century.

I have included much of my vintage pattern collection, as well as pictures from a 1947 Spiegel catalogue and period dress-design books.

The illustrations on the vintage patterns are useful to help figure out the date of garments you might find secondhand, and also in choosing appropriate fabrics when recreating vintage styles (plus they're fun to look at).

This site is under construction, but I expect to make major changes to it weekly.
