Suddenly, the rustling of the leaves were heard.  I woke up in the dark.  I glanced outside and saw a shadowy figure walking past my room.  I quietly walked out and woke Salina up.

            “Shhhhhh… there’s someone outside…” I whispered.

“Oh my god. What are we gonna do?” Salina whispered back.

“Wake everyone else up.” I whispered again.

Salina went to wake up Denny and Jonny and I went to wake up the other two.  George and Valiant were sleeping side by side in their sleeping bag.  When I woke them up, they jumped.  But with my lighting speed and sense of co-ordination, I ended up covering their mouths and a finger up their nose.  I quickly pulled out my hand.  It was gooey and covered in slime.  The two boys were covering their face in pain, tears forming in their eyes.

“Sorry bout that, but don’t make a sound. Someone’s out there.” I whispered.

The two only nodded, scared that I’ll try and shut them up again.

We all met in the narrow hallway in the dark.  The sound of footsteps was still heard.

            “Where’s Salina?” I asked.

            “Right here!” Salina whispered back.

“I can’t see you. Where?” I asked again.

            “I’m invisible!” she replied.

            “What? How?” I asked.

“It’s my afterlife ability! Just like how you make things materialized outta nowhere!” Salina replied.

            “Wicked cool!” said Jonny.

“What! That’s not fair! I wanna be invisible!” I whined.

“Too bad, you suck!” Salina said in an annoying voice.

            “SHHHHHHHHH” The four boys shushed.

“What should we do? I know, let’s all jump out and scare it away!” George suggested.

“You idiot! We’ll be tortured forever! Why would she be scared! She’s a witch!” Denny whispered.

“Shut up you all! Salina! Go out and check. You’re invisible!” I ordered.

“Fine fine….” Salina said.

We looked at the empty space and watched the zipper that seems to unzip on its own.  Salina was out.  A few minutes later, she came back.

“The coast is clear.”

We all got out of the tent.  Suddenly, George screamed in a high pitched voice.  It created a ripple effect.  George’s screamed made Valiant scream and then made Denny break down and cry and then made me scream and ran toward a large tree to hide.  Salina was visible once again and ran into the tent.  After a few minutes, we were out of breath.

“God! George, why’d you scream?” I asked, stilling hiding behind a tree.

“Loo…loooo…look.  There are circles of rocks around our tent.  Like in the movie which means that they’re graves.  There are six of them.” George said.

George started to cry.  Valiant hugged him, trying to calm him down.  Valiant resembles a mother clutching onto her crying kid.  That thought disturbed me.  Salina crawled out of the tent and examined the rocks.  I started behind the tree, still a little scared.  Denny turned and looked in my direction.  I watched his dimed sized eyes widen, almost looks like he has real eyes now.  He stumbled back and pointed at me with his shaking hand.

“Loo..look.  Above you.” Denny mumbled.

I stood confused, but I looked up and gasped in horror.  It was a stick figure that resembled a person the Blair Witch would make and hang on trees.  The tree was particularly tall and I was particular short so I didn’t notice the figure hanging over me.  I hurried and ran toward the crew.  I got there and stared at my former hiding spot.  A shadow figure emerged.  Salina turned invisible again.  Denny peed his pants.  George’s head was buried in the mud and he was mooning at the dark figure.  Jonny was holding on to Valiant’s leg while Valiant tries to run away and I stood there frozen.  The figure came up and held a butcher knife.  The other hand held what looks like a cut off tongue.  Denny suddenly jumped in front and a flash of light shined through.  The witch screamed in pain.

“Now, run for your lifeeeee!” Denny yelled.

We all started running.

“Hey Denny, how’d you do that trick?” I asked.

“I guess that’s my special power! Ha ha! I’m cool now!” Denny said.

“Damn, that was cool. You’re useful for once!” Jonny said.

“Hey, what about me?” George asked.

            “What about you?” I said.

“I used my powers too!” George said.

We all had the confused face on.

“My head! It was buried in the ground in a matter of seconds! I just discovered I can be like a groundhog, digging tunnels in a matter of seconds!” George said excitedly.

            “Uhh… Congratulations…” I said.

            We all clapped sparsely.

So tonight, I found out half our crews newly discovered powers.  I can make things materialize.  Salina is Invisible Girl,  Denny is Flash Boy, and George is… Groundhog Boy.
