Basic
1. Please keep swearing to a minimum. I can't say don't swear at all, because I myself might slip up, but still...
2. No porn. Come one people, I don't want to see that.
3. Play nice in the OOC board! Your characters can be mean, but please no OOC fights.
4. This game is semi-realistic. Yes, there is Good vs. Evil and talking/grinning. But no mysticals, giving of roses, etc.
5. This game is for intermidiate RPers. Do more than just talking in a post!
6. No powerplaying/godmoding.

Joining
1. In order to play you must join and be accepted.
2. You MUST make a joining post. No post, no acceptance.
3. Do not post anywhere else but the joining board until you are accepted.
4. For stallions claiming mares, please wait until AFTER they are accepted to claim.
5. I'd prefer it if people did not join as a lone foal. I may let a few in if I'm feeling particularly nice, but usually no.

Stallions
1. Stallions can claim land.
2. Stallions can claim mares.
3. You cannot challenge for or steal lead mares.
4. Force breeding is allowed, even to lead mares, but they have every right to fight back.
5. Colts are kicked out of the herd at age 2-3. They can breed at 2.
6. The lead stallions pick their mates. No claiming of positions.
7. Stallions can and will kill foals sired by another if they wish.
8. Stallions may kick mares out of the herd.
9. Stallions can challenge for and steal herd mares.

Mares
1. Mares cannot claim lands.
2. Mares cannot run away from their herds. They can, however, go to a mares-only land.
3. Mares must go with the first stallion or lead mare to claim them.
4. Mares must go to the stallion who challenges/steals them succesfully.
5. Mares begin to breed at age 3.

Lead Mares
1. Lead mares can claim other mares.
2. They cannot be challenged for or stolen.
3. Lead mares can exile others permanantly, but only with stallion's permission.
4. Lead mares can exile others temperarily as they wish.
5. If they bear a foal of any steed who is not their mate, the foal is killed.
6. Stallions can choose another to be their mate if they wish.

Foals
1. Foals must stay foals for one game year.
2. Wolves may kill an unprotected foal.
3. Foals cannot breed, nor can they challenge or steal.
4. Foals cannot fight. They may play fight with each other, but no real fighting. Especially against an adult.
5. Put 'nova' in your post if you read the rules.
6. If a foal's dame is stolen or won through a challenge, the foal must go with her.
7. If the foal's dame is won or stolen, the foal may be killed.

Stealing
1. Mares cannot tell their steeds that they are being stolen.
2. When stealing you may either state it plainly, or you may use riddles.
3. If you use riddles, you must give hints to the mare, the steed, and the terra.
4. If the steal is not blocked in three days, the steal was successful.

Breeding
1. Short breeding only. Not long or graphic.
2. I will make the foal stats. After you've bred, post both of your stats (the mare and the stallion) and I will give you the foal.
3. I will role a dice to see when it's born, and how the labor goes.
4. Mares can only breed once during the breeding season (spring/summer).
5. Inbreeding is strongly discouraged. If it happens the foal will most likely die.
6. Force breeding is allowed, but no powerplaying. A stallion cannot mount a mare who is bucking or rearing. Nor can he unpin her tail.

Fighting/Challenging
1. Fighting is allowed. Whether it's over mares, land, or just because you don't like them.
2. If you wish for a fight to the death, you must have my permisson. The other person must also agree to it.
3. Wolves and horses may fight but it will be more lethal. One person may die or just get severly injured, but both will get wounded.
4. You can either RP your challenge or have me roll dice.
5. If you choose to RP it, you decide on the winner. If you two are not mature enough to decide it, then I will.
6. Stallions can challenge for herds, mares, and land.
7. If a mare is not won, you must wait three days before trying for her again.
8. You can only challenge once per day, no matter what it is for.

Wolves
1. Wolves must hunt every 10 days.
2. I will play all of the prey.
3. You can hunt horses, but you probably will be killed.
4. Wolves breed in late winter and spring. You will have 1-6 pups.
5. Alphas decide the pack positions depending on a wolf's dominance. They can change it whenever they wish.
6. Submission is very important when joining a pack. If you do not submit the alpha can and will kill you.
7. Respect is very important as well. You can be cast out of the pack if the alpha feels the need.
8. You can challenge for positions in the pack. It must be done through an RP fight though.
