After each Character's Beginning, told of in their respective profiles, you find yourself in Jad. It has been taken over by The Beast Kingdom. Angela is sleeping in the Inn, Kevin can be find in a corner of the Item Shop hiding, in the pub, there's Hawk (I'd assume having a drink) and on the next floor of it, Lise, asking about her brother. Duran can be found in the weapon shop groaning about the fact there aren't any weapons for sale. First things first, find out how to get out! Talk to a lot of people, just don't try anything with the Beastman (If your Kevin, he'll just laugh and the beastman think that Kevin is there as a secret), or else you'll wake up with 1 HP! Not pleasant. Anyhow...
One of the people will tell you a little something about the Beastmen, they just can't stay still at night. So, go to the Inn, and choose to be woken up at night!(You can just go to sleep, and wake up at night without talking to anyone)
Just head out the exit for Jad then, 2 Lv. 1 Bound Wolves'll greet you instead of the 2 guards that were there. Just go South from there, and you'll find your way down to the next town, Astoria.
Once in town, you can rest and use some time to level up. You'll meet up with the first of your other characters soon, that character will be level 5. To progress, simply go to the south end of town and find the man by lake. Talk to him and he'll say he saw a strange light over the lake last night and he says it might appear again. After talking to him, the next time you sleep at the Inn, you'll be woken up that night by a light. Just follow the light, if you lost it, just go north, taking the first left and following that trail. There's a Golden Statue here, so you can heal and save as you go along. When you reach the end of the trail, the light ball will change into a fairy, who then joins with you (taking up residence in your head). From there, you'll need to go back to the town, only to find it destoryed. Next Stop Wendal
Go up and then to the right, to the cave. There, you'll meet your second character.
