Interesting Fact: Kimona was the sister of Dane; the man that later became Seele
During the times of ancient Endless, there lived a very ambitious brother and sister; Kimona and Dane. Dane had a hunger for power and Kimona supported him as was needed. She admired her brother and his passion, but when he received his enlightenment and she didn't; Kimona was devastated.
She felt as if she lost her brother and also lost her oppertunity and decided to make her life's work a mission in extracting Seele from her brother's body but also learning how to make her own version of this "enlightenment".
Kimona paid a prostitute by the name of Dawn in order to sleep with her first and only son; James (MisterSandman). She wanted to use the child in her experiment.. but she was unaware that TRVD; whom was being manipulated into being a sort of assistant for Kimona would also sleep with the woman. Dreamer was born, as was a twin; a dead fetus.
Kimona was fascinated by all of this, and sent TRVD to "prevent" James THEIR son from seeing Dreamer and trying to sabotage her plans of experimentation. The results of this was known. TRVD comes to and kills Dreamer in a fit of "mercy", but Kimona revives not only the dead boy but also the dead fetus.
Thinking the dead fetus as nothing more than secondary to the wonder that was Dreamer; Kimona left the fetus to rot in the mental hospital.. where it only ended up forming into a child.
The rest of the story is known; The fetus becomes Andrew, and Dreamer ends up proving he's more than a monster. TRVD leaves Kimona and her lab forever. Kimona is left alone, still trying to find that cure.. until she finally does find it. She succeeds in removing Seele from "Dane's" body.. but was unaware that Dane and Seele were one in the same, a entity "reborn" but the same nonetheless. Her life's work was all for nothing.
However one thing was a success. Kimona succeeded in making herself an "enlightened" of sorts. She has given up on her experimentation and now plans to fix some of the things she's created...
