Mental Disorders

The choice to adventure is also the choice to put oneself against the horrors that stalk the night and prey upon the innocent. Many commoners think that tales of supernatural beasts and monsters are mere fairy tales to scare children into behaving and to entertain. We adventurers know differently and this knowing can also be our undoing.
This part of the book of Unfortunate Circumstances stands to warn that not only is the body always in harm while one does battle with evil, so too is the mind affected by the evil one faces.
A major fact to consider is this: there have been more people in our organization that needed to seek mental help after a fight with the unnatural than there have been that needed to be sent home in a casket. Think about this fact deeply before choosing to follow the path of adventuring.
