Well Helmsley, you proved me wrong, it wasn’t all by chance that you got that title, looks like there was some talent behind it as well. Though it seems that I’ve been given a second chance to prove myself worthy, and believe me this is not a chance that I’m going to pass up.
Shabree and I made an example of you at Wrestlewire and it will happen again. Of course this time you might actually see it coming, though I doubt it. During Wrestlewire Shabree and I proved that we work like a well oiled machine, and I doubt that you can claim that you and Alicia do the same. Oh yes I know that you two are married, but that doesn’t make you functional. Oh what was that? You’ve seen each other through thick and thin? Believe me, it takes more strength of character to get yourself through the rough spots than to have someone to rely on to do it with.
Though I must say that we did have a good time at Wrestlewire together, you did things to me that no-one else has... You took me to heights that I have never dreamt of and pushed me to limits that I never knew that I had, it was very enticing. I am of course talking about what happened inside the ring. And I am looking forward to having that experience with you again. Naturally this time I’m going to have a little more in my corner, with Shabree.
Our New Wave Champ is a formidable opponent, wouldn’t you agree? Wouldn’t you love to have someone like her in your corner? I know that I would, and hey I do. I chose Shabree for a very simple reason, she is one of the best, and when two women set their sights on something they are unstoppable, and we are no different. We have our sights set high as well.
Though I must admit that I am very curious to see what Alicia brings to the plate. I know that she was inducted into a hall of fame, in fact you two can’t seem to stop talking about it. Though it seems that she has been out of the ring for some time, and I wonder, is she rusty? Or does she still know how the game is played? I must admit that I’m anxious to see that. Naturally I’m not going to underestimate Alicia by any means, I have made too many mistakes in underestimating my opponents and I will not suffer a laps in judgement like that again. No Alicia I will be anticipating that you bring your “A” game along with your husband, but I will of course be pleasantly surprised if that is not the case.
I am so glad that I finally have a partner who’s weight I don’t have to carry. I have been in several other federations and in every tag match that I have been involved with it was me carrying my partners weight. I cannot express how much of a relief it is to only have to focus on what I need to do and what my opponent is not doing. I know that Shabree can hold her own, hell she is the longest running New Wave Champ, she broke the curse.
I have a proposition for you Helmsley, should Shabree and I win this match, I would like a rematch for the world title. My reasoning is simple, if we beat you and Alicia on Monday than I believe that I will have proven myself worthy to hold on to that title. So what do you say?
The scene fades in from black as Drusilla is in her hotel room getting some of her things together alone, Seth had left earlier. Drusilla looks over her shoulder when she sensed someone enter her hotel room.
Drusilla: You are quite possibly the last person I expected to see.
She see’s Darkness climbing over the railing of the balcony.
Darkness: Well I figured that you might be single and see if I have a shot.
Drusilla: No Pete, not single.
Darkness: You sure? Seth looked pretty pissed after Wrestlewire.
Drusilla: Nope.
Darkness: Well you might be soon. He seems like the type who would take something like you flashing your goods to 53,000 people a little personally.
Drusilla: Maybe, but that was just business.
Darkness: Really? If that is the business that we are in than I am sorely missing out.
Drusilla: You know what I mean.
Darkness: That thing with Shabree?
Drusilla: Yeah, the plan is dependent on her keeping the New Wave Championship.
Darkness: Uh huh, did Seth know that?
Drusilla: Well, no. But there was a lot that I couldn’t tell him.
Darkness: Oh yeah, I’m sure that he is pretty pissed… I’m sure that you will be single again in no time.
Drusilla: Well I doubt that, Seth and I have our rough spots, but he always comes back.
Darkness: Now that is so touching I might vomit.
Drusilla playfully shoves Darkness,
Drusilla: Come on Pete, you honestly think that he would leave me over a little thing like that?
Darkness fixates his eyes on her chest,
Darkness: I don’t see anything little about them.
Drusilla: Pete, knock it off.
Darkness: Oh come on, just one lap dance?
Drusilla: No Pete, now get out.
Darkness: Aw come on, I was only kidding.
Drusilla: Fine, but unless you have anything serous to say…
Darkness: Well Dru, you and I go way back, and as much as I may not like him, Seth has been good for you. The last thing that I want to see is you screw up yet another good thing, like you did with Darion.
Drusilla, at that moment, loses all sense of humour,
Drusilla: Get out.
Darkness: What? I’m trying to be serious.
Drusilla: I think that you are the last person that I want to talk to about my relationships.
Darkness: Then who will you talk to? Who is going to put this into perspective for you? I know that you may not believe this, but you deserve to be happy, and he has made you happy. You shouldn’t mess that up.
Drusilla: Hey, it’s not my fault that Seth gets upset over every little thing that may not go his way.
Darkness: Well that’s true, but he has supported you, and you pretty much stabbed him in the back.
Drusilla: He would have done the same to me.
Darkness: You know I doubt that.
Drusilla: Whatever Pete, you can go now.
Darkness: Alright Drusilla, but don’t say that I didn’t warn you.
Rather than going out the door to the hotel room Darkness exit’s the way that he came, scaling down the balcony, once he is out of sight Drusilla sighs,
Drusilla: I know exactly what I’m doing.
