center damn it!

Well, well, well, it would seem that I might have upset the Radical Matt Helmsley well forgive me for point out the facts. The truth of the matter is that, well you may respect what that belt means and I imagine that you will do everything that you can to keep it, you cannot deny that Winter gave you the opportunity to compete for that belt, and had it not been for him you wouldnt be standing here right now, with that belt in hand. As for me exploiting the battle royal? I feel a little insulted, I was given an opportunity to compete, and worked my ass off to win it. While you had the money in the bank shot, literally, handed to you. Had Winter chose not to be exceedingly generous I would be him I would be verbally sparring with right now, and probably trying yet again to prove that Im worth his time. Instead I have you.

While I do admire the competitor that you are, Hemsley, there is no way that you can deny the pure and simple fact that you are monumentally lucky to be in the position that you are in right now. Im of course not saying that you would have been in this position eventually, Im just saying that it wouldnt be now. Dont get me wrong, I do understand what kind of competitor you are Helmsley, and I respect what you have done with your career, and I know that this is my chance to prove that I belong with the best of the best. Lets face it, you are one of them, and competing with one of the best can only improve my game, push me to my limits and force me to compete in a way that I have never competed. I look forward to it.

Im glad that you understand that there was more going on with Winter than merely the belt, that was something that I gained a lot of criticism over, thank you for not doing the same.

Though I do find it very amusing that you spend so much time catering to the sheep, many of them could not have an original thought if their lives depended on it, in fact I think that it might cause their heads to explode. Yes, yes, I know that if it wasnt for the sheep this federation would be no-where, but you know that drives them more than watching their heroes? Watching a heroes fail. I know, everyone loves a hero, but more than that they like to watch them fail. Heres an interesting lesson from pop culture history, do you know what the headlines of newspapers nation wide were on January 15th 1993? Supermans Dead. As much as Superman was a beloved hero, his death got him the headlines. I know how much you love your fans, and how much they seem to love you, but as much as they cheer for you, they want to see you lose. Remember, no one roots for Goliath.

Now I know that you are going to be tempted to make some comment about me being a comic book geek, but the fact is that I remember that headline, and, well its amazing what you can find on Wikipedia.

Now, allow me to address something stated by your wife, about my supposed unfounded claims. This federation has knowingly hired talent who have it written in their contact that they will under no circumstances compete with a female opponent. Now tell me, if that is not employing sexist values, Im not sure what is. More importantly those talent believe that should a title be on the line with a female number one contender that she should find a stand in for that match, one of the male persuasion. Now let me ask you something, if you have already worked your way to becoming the number one contender, why on earth should you be content with having someone else fetch the title for you? I personally find that very insulting and demeaning. Alicia, if you are a woman of integrity, which I believe you to be, I know that you would not stand for it either. Granted this federation does let female competitors push the limit as much as they do the men, but the fact that this is in some of their contracts only prove to me that there is still much work to be done.

Matt, please do us all a favour and stop beating the dead horse, we all know that you are F*N Matt Helmsley, and we know that the fans all love you. Im not kidding myself, I know that this is going to be one the longest nights of my life, and I know that Im not going to be able to take you down easily. It has been a long hard road to get to this point, but here I am, and this is not something that Im going to take lightly. I know that you know everything that it means to be a champion, which is why I respect you, but you should also realize that I understand that as well. I know what it means to be a leader, and a role model. So there is no need to preach to me about what it all means. I already know. Not only will I defend myself to the fullest of my abilities, I will come at you with everything that I have. I have been able to pin bigger than you, and I intend to do the same to you.

The scene fades in from black with Drusilla in her hotel room alone. She and Seth had a conversation earlier, and she had insisted on being left alone until WrestleWire. She knows that she needs to focus on the match at hand.

She is lying peacefully in bed, when she hears her name being called from within the bathroom.

Voice: Drusilla Drusilla

She follows the voice that she hears and looks at her reflection in the mirror. What she sees however it not really herself, although it does look like her, her reflection does have a more distant look to her eyes and her hair was untamed. Drusilla does not seem at all surprised by this, and responds to her reflection.

Drusilla: What do you want?

Reflection: To remind you, she is very dangerous

Drusilla: I just wanted to be left alone, this match is very important to me and she was distracting me. Trying to make me doubt myself.

Reflection: You need not doubt, her strength is our strength. However, you must begin to think like her to win.

Drusilla: What do you mean by that?

Reflection: You need to be fierce, uncompromising, determined and vigilant. This is the only way that you can win.

Drusilla: No, I will not stoop to her level in order to win. I have my integrity to think of.

Reflection: Really? Perhaps then you need to take some lessons from your associate. She is all of the above and still has much integrity. In order to keep our other at bay, you must think like her in the ring, and dont apply all of those to what you are outside of it. You will have no one in that ring but your opponent, and he will be all of the above. If you wish to best him, you will have to not only think like him, but be three steps ahead.

Drusilla sighs,

Drusilla: Youre right. I was just hoping that it wouldnt come to that.

Reflection: We all wish for things, some, however, we cannot avoid. The last thing that either of us want is for her to call the shots. She will only ruin everything that you have done since our return.

Drusilla: I know.

Reflection: Under no circumstances can you lose. Plans are in motion, and she will ruin them.

Drusilla: I know. I need to keep my focus.

Reflection: Stay three steps ahead, think like the competitor that we know that you need to be to win this.

Drusilla: I will.

Reflection: Best of luck.

Drusilla nods to her reflection and goes back to her bedroom to think deeply about the conversation that she has just had as the scene fades to black.
