The scene opens with Drusilla and Seth in Seth’s hotel room, both of them lying in bed, apparently naked the sheets covering their nudity. They are both wide awake, the scene beginning after what was apparently a very enjoyable evening.

Seth releases a sigh of contentment then turns to Drusilla,

Seth: God I missed this.

Drusilla smiles,

Drusilla: I know.

Don't fret precious I'm here, step away from the window
Go back to sleep
Safe from pain and truth and choice and other poison devils,
See, they don't give a fuck about you, like I do.

Seth: What made you decide to come back anyway? You were so angry when you left.

Drusilla: I missed you, and came to the conclusion that I over reacted.

Young Voice: That’s putting it lightly.

Seth: I guess you could say that.

Drusilla sighs,

Drusilla: I know that you only wanted to help, and I thought that you have violated my privacy. What happened to my sister isn’t something that I like to talk about.

Seth sits up and gently traces the contours of her face,

Seth: I know what you mean.

Drusilla sits up, using the sheets to cover her breasts, and looks directly into Seth’s eyes.

Drusilla: You do, don’t you?

Seth seems surprised about her forwardness and apparent knowledge,

Seth: I lost my brother some time ago as well.

Young Voice: He didn’t kill his brother…

Seth looks at Drusilla somewhat surprised,

Seth: What was that?

Drusilla: I didn’t say anything, though it must have been hard to feel the death of someone who is the other half of you like that. I didn’t feel it with Alice, I was sleeping when she died.

Seth looks at Drusilla with the look of both pity and confusion in his eyes,

Seth: I read the police report, I’m sorry Dru, I can’t even begin to imagine what that was like for you.

Drusilla brings on of her fingers up to Seth’s lips gently,

Drusilla: Hush now, lets speak of more pleasant things.

She removes her finger and moves in to give him a gentle kiss. Seth does not seem satisfied with the gentle nature of the kiss she has given him and pulls her in for a deeper more passionate kiss.

Seth: I missed you so much… I love you Drusilla.

Drusilla: I know Seth, I’ve missed you to.

Seth sighs slightly, still expecting to hear his feelings reciprocated,

Seth: After I saw Darion’s promo from last week I was afraid that is how things would turn out for us, feeling nothing but bitterness towards one another.

Drusilla looks up at Seth wearing a look of shock on her face,

Drusilla: I’m not bitter towards Darion.

Seth: Then why would you send him that DVD?

Drusilla smiles,

Drusilla: A reminder.

Seth looks at her as though she is thinking with a logic that he cannot comprehend.

Seth: A reminder of what? You don’t want to go back to him do you?

Drusilla smiles and pats his head lightly,

Drusilla: Aww, Seth you are so cute when you are paranoid. The reminder was of how much power I still have over him.

Seth smiles somewhat awkwardly,

Seth: Sweetie, you do know that you lost right?

Drusilla: I know, but did you see how upset he got before hand?

Seth smiles at her, knowing that he will never really understand her logic,

Seth: I did, but are you sure that was the best way to remind him of that? To make him angry?

Drusilla smiles,

Drusilla: He could never control his anger, it was the easiest reaction to get from him. Don’t you worry though, I have other tricks up my sleeve.

Young Voice: Uh, Huston, we have a problem, I need you here right now!

Drusilla sighs, turns to Seth and lightly drags her fingers down his face,

Drusilla: I’m positively beat, I need to get some sleep, care to join me?

Seth smiles somewhat awkwardly and hugs her tightly,

Seth: Are you sure that you are that beat?

Drusilla returns his awkward smile,

Drusilla: Yes.

She lays back down and pulls the covers up to her neck and attempts to get comfortable, Seth lays next to her, spooning her and holding her as they both drift off to sleep.

The scene changes to the landscape of Drusilla’s dreams, the Distant Drusilla makes her way to the cemetery and notices that the grave she had dug for the Strong persona is now empty. She looks around more and finds that she is alone, and only one grave remains, the on of their conscience, Drusilla as she should be.

The Distant persona sighs as she realizes that this is something that she cannot handle on her own. She grabs a shovel, located next to the tombstone, and begins to dig.

Distant Drusilla: All wrong, it’s all gone all wrong!

She reaches her target and helps her other persona out of her grave,

Drusilla: What’s going on?

Distant Drusilla: It’s all gone horribly wrong, I thought that I could keep her in control, but she has escaped.

Drusilla: The stronger one?

Distant Drusilla: Yes, and now she and our younger self are missing!

Drusilla: Fabulous, what do you think brought this on?

Distant Drusilla: We got back together with Seth, despite the fact that he sought the girl through the looking glass, she was very angry when he found her and would not forgive him.

Drusilla: And all of those are reasons why she should not be in control.

Distant Drusilla: I know, I tried to fix things, but I’m afraid I just made her angry.

Drusilla: What do you mean?

Distant Drusilla: I patched things up, as best I could, even reconciled with Seth, but that seems to have angered her.

Drusilla: Fabulous.

The two personas spend some time trying to find their other counterparts when the come onto the Younger persona, beaten behind one of the still standing tombstones.

The regular Drusilla examines her and finds that she is still breathing, but barely holding onto consciousness.

Drusilla: Where did she go?

The Younger persona points upwards, right behind the other par. The two turn around quickly to see the Stronger Persona above them, still covered in dirt and wielding a shovel.

Without saying a word she takes a heavy swing at the regular persona, which she easily ducks.

Drusilla: What the hell are you doing? Have you any idea of the consequences of the things that you have done?

Strong Drusilla: You know it’s strange, I really don’t care. We should be focusing on us, not trying to make all the other cretins happy.

Drusilla: However… we must make use of others to achieve our happiness.

The Strong Drusilla laughs,

Strong Drusilla: Hardly, we don’t need to commit ourselves to one person to achieve our happiness, we need to keep our options open. And we especially don’t need to commit ourselves to someone who won’t mind their own goodtime business!

She lifts the shovel to take another swing which Drusilla catches and the two struggle for control of the weapon.

Drusilla: He only would have done something like that if he cared, which apparently he does, greatly. We made sure it was very difficult to find that information and he found it, which also proves his determination.

The Distant Drusilla leans down to make sure that the Younger persona is doing alright. It appears that she and her Stronger persona had gotten into quite the shuffle, he face has been badly bruised, and she appears to have bruises down her arms and legs.

Distant Drusilla: How are you feeling dearie?

The Younger persona moans slightly,

Young Drusilla: I’ll live…

The Distant Persona smiles at her and gently runs her hand over her head, as an attempt to be comforting.

Distant Drusilla: Just lay still, all will be right soon.

Meanwhile the struggle for the shovel continues between the Strong persona and Drusilla,

Strong Drusilla: He had no right! And she had no right to go back to him.

Go back to sleep

Drusilla: Well that’s not your choice!

The Stronger persona shoves the other Drusilla down, so she falls next to her Younger and Distant counterparts.

Strong Drusilla: Apparently it was, after all you were the one who created me to deal with these kinds of things, if you want to blame anyone blame yourself.

Drusilla: I already do blame myself.

The Stronger persona smiles slightly and lifts the shovel far above her head.

Strong Drusilla: Then you can get your share of the consequences!

She starts to swing the shovel down to give a blow to the head of her other persona, when the Young Drusilla sits up suddenly and gets between the two, catching the blow to right in the back of the head and falls limp.

Drusilla: What have you done?

The scene changes back to Drusilla and Seth sleeping in his hotel room, when Drusilla starts to shake violently, as though she is having a seizure and wakes Seth. Seth not sure of what to do tries to hold her steady and he can tell that she is not conscious,

Seth: Drusilla! Wake up! Please!

Drusilla is still unresponsive but stops shaking. Seth leans in to confirm that she is still breathing, and when he is completely sure that she is indeed still alive he reaches for the phone and dials 911.

Inner Voice: What have you done?!

I’ll be the one to protect you from your enemies and all your demons
I'll be the one to protect you from a will to survive and a voice of reason
I'll be the one to protect you from your enemies and your choices son
They're one in the same, I must isolate you…
Isolate and save you from yourself …

Fade to Black.
