Darion, Darion, Darion… just not the same when I’m not moaning it is it?

I must say first I was very surprised to see you here, but then again you seem to have this bad habit of turning up where your not wanted. As for my little disappearing act all of those years ago… well it’s no secret where I went, but at the time you had every ability to find me… It’s not like I feel off the face of the Earth or anything, besides it’s not like I WANTED to go there.

Now, why would I take you up on your offer for Wrestlewire? Well lets face it, you did cost me two matches, but there is more to it than that. I know that you will not hold back, hell I know that you won’t let the fact that we have a history together hold you back. I expect this to be one of the most brutal matches of the night. And I look forward to it.

I must say that I have been so very bored lately, and you know what boredom leads to in me right? Well you most certainly know what it means for Pete, but do your remember the havoc I used to cause when I got bored? Some good times.

You know part of me never thought that I would see you again, I guess that I was hoping to much, that you might let sleeping dogs lie? Guess I was wrong, not only did you find me, you seem to want an apology for something that was beyond my control. Well I’m certainly not going to apologise for something I couldn’t control, and hell I rarely apologise for anything that was within my control.

I know that you have already considered this match yours, after all you do have considerable size over me, but I believe I already taught the lesson that size doesn’t seem to matter to Odium a few weeks ago…hmmm… what could I teach you? After all it’s only fair, yes you did bring me into this business and I’m sure that you have every intention now of taking me out, but you and I both know that I don’t give up so easy.

No Darion, I’m not going to teach you anything about how size doesn’t matter, I think the lesson I have for you is a little shame, yes the same shame that much of the male roster has learned since I got here, yes the shame of losing to a woman. Not enough? Well I could also teach you a lesson in pain, after all I owe it to you.

And to Winter, well it’s nice to see that you are taking your suspension from the ring with such grace and stride… I await your return. It’s nice to see you doing something with your whole ass for a change.

The camera fades in from black and Drusilla is sitting in another club, the new age music of Delerium sounding over the speakers, as Drusilla watches the local youth on the dance floor.

Bleak desolation
In a beam of sun

Young Voice: Why did you have to do that?

Drusilla: Do what?

Young Voice: Agree to a match with Darion, are you crazy?

Drusilla: Clearly.

Young Voice: Alright, wrong choice of words… is this something that you really think that we should be doing?

Drusilla: It is something that needs to be done, he has been taunting us with his presence long enough, and it’s about time there was real competition to be had.

Young Voice: He seemed pretty pissed.

Scraping as I crawl
(Your heart can’t hear me)
Tearing bruising fall
(Your hands can’t hear me)

Drusilla: He did indeed. But he is upset over something that was beyond our control.

Young Voice: That’s true, maybe we should try to explain that to him?

Drusilla: Do you honestly think that he will listen?

Young Voice: Alright you have a point there, what about Seth?

Drusilla: What about him?

Young Voice: Do you think that he will ever forgive us for what she did?

Drusilla: Our other? I’m not sure. She left him with much hurt.

Young Voice: He misses us.

Drusilla: Yes I suppose he does.

Thirsting raging blind
(Your eyes can’t hear me)
Racing against time
(Your arms can’t hear me)

Young Voice: Shouldn’t we do something about that? I mean I know that some of us miss him as well. I know that you do.

Drusilla: Its true, but I don’t think that he will be very receptive.

Young Voice: Never know unless you try.

Drusilla nods,

Drusilla: that’s a good point.

Young Voice: We’ve been running for to long, for mistakes that were all her fault! I’m tried of paying for things that she has done.

Drusilla: Yes, I imagine that you are.

Young Voice: She ruined everything, she drove HIM away, she drove Darion away and now she has done the same with Seth, it’s not fair.

Like an angel you’ll come
In a dream, precious one
And make me beautifully numb

Drusilla: I’m terribly sorry to break this to you, but life is rarely fair.

Young Voice: I know, I’m just tired of cleaning up after her, or having to pay for things that she has done.

Drusilla: Well then maybe you should have chosen a better time to grow a backbone… wait… you still haven’t.

Young Voice: Oh yeah, like that will actually help, I think that we would have done much better, and will continue to do better if we can stop fighting amongst ourselves.

Drusilla: Again you have a point, but I doubt very much that the others will see it that way.

Young Voice: You are probably right. Maybe we should accept HIS help.

Drusilla laughs,

Drusilla: Not in this lifetime, or any other. He knows very little of what he speaks. Even less about us.

Young Voice: Why is it that I’m the only one who seems to want to get better?

Drusilla: The rest of us are content with the way things are, nothing that you will say can change that.

Desperate panicked calls
(The wind can’t hear me)
Muffled weak and small
(The sand can’t hear me)

Young Voice: Like with Winter?

Drusilla: What do you mean?

Young Voice: The vendetta that you have with him, only because his honour does not allow him to fight with a woman.

Drusilla: His honour is insulting, something that he calls honour the rest of the enlightened population calls sexism, nothing will change that.

Young Voice: Fine believe that he might not think that we’re capable in the ring, if that is what you want to believe.

Drusilla smiles slightly,

Drusilla: That… is not the problem. He claims to hold women in the highest of accord, yet as an apology to us he sent us one. A very lovely young woman, a submissive. I imagine that’s all that he thinks of us, someone to control.

Young Voice: Then your letting him win. Getting under your skin is one way of doing that.

Drusilla: Hmm… that’s a good point. Still…there could still be something that we can do to get his attention.

Young Voice: How about ignoring him?

Drusilla: Do you really think that will work with a man like him?

Young Voice: Someone who likes to exhibit his control over women suddenly having one that has been gunning for him for months suddenly turn her back on him? It might, after all it seems that he likes the attention that we have brought to him.

Pleading groping hands
(The truth can’t hear me)
Bleeding in the sand
(Your heart can’t hear me)

Drusilla: That might be just crazy enough to work, but what of Darion?

Young Voice: You might just have to throw yourself to his mercy.

Drusilla: Not likely. I refuse to become her whipping boy.

Young Voice: Fine then let him destroy us in the ring.

Drusilla: Oh ye of little faith… you really think that’s what will happen? Time and time again we have proven that size does not matter, Darion is just another large man waiting for his fall.

Young Voice: Or, maybe we could just apologise.

Drusilla: We have nothing to apologise for!

Young Voice: Are you kidding, we have everything to apologise for! First we didn’t even let him know that we were sick.

Drusilla: That was none of his business, nor is it anyone else’s.

Young Voice: Fine, we could have tried to give him some warning that we would leave.

Drusilla: If you recall that wasn’t exactly something that was planned, nothing like getting dragged away by the men in white to ruin a relationship.

Young Voice: Fine if you would like to believe that we have nothing to apologise for, but us vs. him, it just doesn’t seem right. We used to work like such a well oiled machine.

Drusilla: Indeed we did, but times change, and we must change with them, or be left behind.

Bleak desolation
In a beam of sun

Young Voice: Well then in these changing times, we should really get someone who cares to lick our wounds.

Drusilla smiles,

Drusilla: Indeed we should.

The scene fades out and the picture comes back again, Drusilla is in a hotel room which clearly isn’t hers, apparently waiting for the owner of the room to return.

The door opens and Drusilla makes her way into the shadows, as Seth Chaos enters his hotel room. He could tell right away that something was amiss.

Seth: Who’s there?

Drusilla emerges from the shadows, a red rose in her hand,

Drusilla: A happy memory, look who’s come to make everything right again.

Like an angel you’ll come
In a dream, blessed one
And make me joyfully numb

Drusilla smiles suggestively and traces the bloom down her cheek as the scene fades to black.
