O.K. I am not one who can resist the good old road trip. I mean the real kind. Do or Die, No Guts No Glory, and The peddle to the metal. I have been on numerious road trips and not one came out to be a bad trip. They have taken me all the way from Canada to Mexico and every state on the west coast. (Never made it back east yet, but...) Anyhow, I don't care what people can find bad about it. I mean its the sheer feeling of freedom. Being somewhere you never been before, going somewhere you have no idea is about, and not a care of whats behind you. Its the short ver. of travle life. I mean normal people just can't get up and go travleing because of jobs, finance, and reasons unknown to me. I find the road trip addicting... maybe instead of a thrasher I should have been a biker... Thats living and if anyone has a problem you just pack up and head out for the next place. You want to get me going? Lets jump in the car, grab the beer, and lets forget life ever exists.

THE ROAD TRIPS

(FOREVER ON)

You say you want to meet me!
You say you want to know me!
well let me tell you about the time I was
(music begin)
I was driving about a hundred and ten
and the wheels just kept on going---
Beer felt fine and the tequila felt good
and the Whiskey just kept on flowing---
We was laughing like nothing was wrong
and the highway just kept on rolling---
Never turned around intil we was almost broke
Always made it back for that final showing---

(cc1)
Sometimes I think we wanted to die
So damn crazy it would bring a tear to your eye
and The road Trips Forever on
Like thunder shes flying on!
The road Trips Forever on
Like Thunder shes flying on!

I said wait I am going to crash and burn
and we just kept on and on flying--
The engine was steaming and the hood was hot
and we kept pushing and kept on trying---
We pulled a bitch and flipped the U
and the wheels seemed to be crying---
Going back always sucked because you loved it
the first question was who in the hell is buying---
(repeat CC1)
(solo)

Now I am looking down the road all alone
with enough booze to land and kill me---
Shifted in gear and took to the left I aint stopping
I kept drinking till I almost couldnt see---
State line passed and the gas tank was looking grim
I knew this is what it is like to be free---
Sun was about down and I turned myself around
and the road just seemed to creep---

(Repeat CC1)
