well... if anyone can't figure out what this song is about then you definatly havn't known me for very long. *lol* I wrote this song using ravens real first name. but later changed it over to her handle name as to protect her identity... either which way we can fit it into the song and not change the over all melody of it... heh... Anyhow where was I... oh yea... I wrote this song for raven... obviously... this song is pretty much another song from my feelings. I am sure raven will understand its message where as the rest of you... hmmmm... figure it out for yourself and be happy... *grin* nuff said?
*****Angel Ash Update***** This song came out of the archives from a long time ago on my recommendation and chosen by Angel Ash. Alot of the song was actually altered from a heavier soul song to more of a gut busting ballot. Mainly because the new singer has a way better range in higher octiv then I would normally try to reach. I arranged this song to use back up singers while Jim prefers to take the full light and altering his own voice to fit. He elected to remove the "raise your eyes and smile" for his own melodic blues type of... well just a scream I guess. *lol* He definatly likes his filler type of style where words don't fit. When asked why this song was chosen Jim primarily says "it captures a certain mood." while he likes the original title in dedication to his fiance. The rest of the guys say it fit a previously wrote music that they was having problems fitting lyric too. "it just falls into place with very little altercations." says troy. "it just works" says dennis. "I don't know, I was just able to expirement and do some things that I normally cant try. The whole thing is very flexible." says kev. "I just think its very cute." says Darla. Me? well, since I did get the chance to perform it... well... Its not exactly what I had in mind originally and it is definatly a challenging peice. Jim is far more fitted for this song now. It took my work to another level and Angel Ash did an excellent job in brining out this songs potential. I can take only credit for the original idea. where these guys actually made it work. Thanks guys.
