Desperate, Lupin and Grognard tries a second tatic...
Lupin: Oh MAAAAXXXXXXX...
Max: Again? Aw...Lupin.. you know I can't free you...you're making me
miss my nighthood cartoons! >)
Lupin: look... i know you can't.. but that doesn't mean you can't pass a friend
something... say a penknife from the table right?
Grognard: *tries hard* Yeah Max...you're not freeing us, you're merely giving us a
present...
Max: Well you do have a point..but I don't know....
Grognard: I'll buy you an ice cream....
Max: AN icecream? Well...
Lupin: *hurriedly* Make that two...
Max: *evil grin* I dunno...TWO's a little too risky...what if I get into trouble....
Grognard: Okay okay....ice cream everyday for a whole month..
(Lupin stares hard at grognard ).
Max: make it two months and you've yourselves a deal!*winks*
Lupin and grognard: TWO?!
Max: well if you're not willing....gee i wonder what Kelly has in store
for the two of you when she gets back...( starts to walk out )
Lupin: NO NO NO! I mean... two month's fine! after all a kid's gotta eat! * pacifying
grin*
Max : *BIG GRIN* okay then here ya go! Now remember I wasWATCHING
CARTOONS okay? (hands penknife to lupin and hurriedly runs away...) And I want my ice
cream tomorrow!
(Lupin starts to cut through the ropes )
Lupin: *shakes head exaspiratedly* Since when did Max learn to...
Grognard: dunno, but boy TWO's month's worth of icecream is gonna cost a
lot..i guess this is what they meant by " the price of freedom " eh boss?
Lupin: you realise though... Max's icecream is going to come out of YOUR pay...
Grognard: What the...? HEY THAT's NOT FAIR!!!!
(Lupin finally unties his rope and walks towards the cupboard. He mockingly knocks on the
cupboard door)
Lupin: Of course.. if you would RATHER stay in there Grognard....*evil grin*
Grognard: That's blackmail!!!
Lupin: Gee... I wonder what kel will do to you if she finds out that I'm gone..?*evil
chuckle*
Grognard: *PANICS* OKAY OKAY!!!! TAKE MY PAY ALREADY!! JUST LET ME OUTTA HERE!!!
Lupin: well that's mighty generous of you to offer to pay for Max's
icecream, but if you insists Grognard! * winks*
(Lupin opens the cupboard for Grognard, who rushes out and takes a deep
breath before shooting a glare at Lupin.)
Grognard : *mumbles silently* I Should have known ...
