After all, one can never have too much money...or too much power... and Karst already HAS the money part all figured out . � That alone could already qualify Karst to be one of Lupin's most powerful adversary.
Like a shrewd businessman, Karst knows how to milk money from both sides of the law. While Karst Enterprises does run a legitimate business up front, it is only as a facade ~ where the BIG money really rolls in� comes from �his not-so-legitimate activities. Forging money, trading with the Mafia.. you name it, Karst is likely to have a huge stake in�it.�
Where Karst and Lupin are concerned, their enmity probably spans from a personal vendetta dating back as far as 1912. ( Bet Karst never thought a 'kid' then could cost him so much trouble now eh?) The Karst Empire was a product of over twenty years of dirty money, but it's now losing profits with every illegal activity that Lupin helps to expose. Karst may have escaped arrest for now, but Lupin is still one big thorn at his side ...� No wonder his hair is turning gray � *heh heh*. Looks like Karst plans for world domination is destined to be like that puzzle he keeps fixing... permanently incomplete that is!
