Shelton Competition 10-21-00



 2:45 - Stretching, block basics, and music warmup (aim for 2:30 so you aren't late)
 5:30 - Load designated instruments onto equipment truck; Dinner; change into uniform
 6:15 - Uniform inspection and load buses
 6:30 - Depart for Shelton HS
 7:15 - Arrive at Shelton HS; unload and form in sections
 9:00 - Perform
 9:15 - Watch Shelton perform from sideline. You must stay in uniform (minus hat)
        until after the competition
 9:30 - Awards; Afterwards you may return to the buses and change back to street clothes
        while staff is at the critique; Make sure your uniform is preperly hung up
11:00 - Anticipated arrival back at NHS




Directions to Shelton HS:

Take Route 34 to Route 111 (right turn)
Take Route 111 to Route 110 (left turn)
Take Route 110 to traffic light at White Hill Plaza (Gas station on your right)
Turn right at this light and then take your first left onto Meadow Street
Shelton HS will be on your right (Quite a ways down Meadow Street)



Parents: 

The competition begins at 6:00pm and consists of 10 competing bands plus
Shelton HS in exhibition. Please plan to arrive there early to get a good seat.
