Itinerary for B.O.A. Hofstra Competition 10-07-00:


 8:45am - arrive at NHS for practice
10:30am - load busses and depart for Hofstra University
 1:00pm - Arrive at Hofstra University; Check in and unload equipment
 1:15pm - stretching and block basics
 1:45pm - section warmups
 2:10pm - full band and guard warm up
 2:30pm - move to stadium
 3:00pm - perform
 3:15pm - finish performance; band picture taken
 3:30pm - return to stadium for rest of prelims
 5:00pm - preliminary competition awards ceremony
 5:15pm - Dinner

The balance of the day will depend on whether we make the 
Finals Competition, which will not be announced until prelims are over.
We're staying there for finals, whether we make it or not.


Departure schedule:

10:30pm - Finals Competition Awards ceremony
11:00pm - Leave Hofstra University
 1:30am - Arrive at NHS


Directions to Hofstra University:


Take I95 to South Bronx Parkway (I295 South)
Take I295 South Across Throgs Neck Bridge
I295 becomes the Clearview Expressway (Still I295)
Take Clearview until you reach Long Island Expressway (I495)
Take Long Island Expressway to Exit 39 South (Glencove Road exit)
Turn right onto Glencove Rd and travel 7 miles to Route 24 east (Fulton St.)
Turn left onto Fulton St. (Rte. 24 east) to hofstra Campus
Fulton st. Turns into Hempstead Pike along the way
Parking Area is on Meadowbrook Place
