Who am I? Well now. Let me see...

I am just your average 17-year-old, wanting to be older, enjoying my youth, and trying to live life the best I can in this tiny town.

College blah blah blah.  Narrowing the search this month.  And the nominees are...Clark University, St. Thomas University, Texas Christian University, and Rhodes College.

My "manifesto" is in progress.  I'm writing a play about Absinthe.  ok, well, no.  The title is definately going to be "Absinthe", and the drink itself is going to be in the play, but i think i'm going to focus on a relationship. Right now i'm in the notes stage: jotting stuff down, recording ideas on a tape.  I'm really excited by the idea of this play, though.  In the same way that John got excited about his poetry, I'm excited about this play; it is the perfect blend of my two favorite worlds: theater and writing.

Pete, my fabulous boyfriend, best friend, love of my life, and *ahem*, came home from boot camp in november, but is currently deployed to the middle east.  sucks to be me.

My candle burns at both ends;
      It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and ah, my friends--
      It gives a lovely light!

Back Home
After a long vacancy from updating, I return.  *bows*

At last, the school year is done.  I am officially through with high school and have less than three weeks until I am a legal adult.  Life is good.

The summer is blah--life is somewhat blah.

Pete is still in Kuwait-Iraq-ish area; I am unsure when he will return.  I miss him immensely.

In other less important and unstimulating news...I am now scarface-ish.  I opened the laundry room pantry and the metal foot of ironing board hit my eye.  *waits for laughter to subside*  luckily I only have a slight black eye and a few scratches--nothing permanent.

That is all for now.  Fare thee well.
Go grab a book and some hot coffee; settle down onto a couch, and let your soul melt.
