The Night... she cries |
She stands alone in the moonlight sweet, solemn tears stream down her face remembering his touch on their last night only wanting to go back to that place. The warmth of the night surrounds her trying to soothe her stricken heart but the pain is all she can remember as in the moonlight she falls apart. She once was his redeeming angel that walked with him in the light but now he's just a fighting rebel that denies walking in her delight. How the moonlight does call to her gently come run, play once more with me looking up to the moon, so eloquently tears in her eyes, she says, "I cannot set him free." On a moonlit night you will see her standing there waiting...wanting...but don't you realize her soul has been left empty and bare oh the Night... she cries. -NightCry- 3/12/01 7:49am |
This poem is inspired and dedicated to a very special person, who shared so willingly
a dream.... unfortunately the dream died. "Holding forever your thoughts till the end of time" |
