My Views On What BDSM Is
What does BDSM mean to me?
Ok. Lets see. To me it is a way of life. Not only sex, thats just an added thing. Of course even though I am a scorpio sex is not the be all and end all of a relationship for me.
BDSM consists of usually two people who should care enough for one another so as to be called love. Not the love for a sibling, but the love of one who can be intimate with another.
Where one person, the submissive, relies on the other, the Dominant, for love, guidance, support, direction, a general sense of life and self, ect.
Where the Dom/me gives love, support, discipline, and a few other things which he or she brings to the relationship. And dont get me wrong I said relationship, it is a full time commitment, Dom/mes are called on 24/7 for the guidance of their submissive, guidance and/or discipline.
The submissives give themselves to the Dom/mes totally and completely, heart, mind, body, and soul. That is the reason for the collar, when the give themselves they are the possesions of their Master or Mistress. They need the love, support, and guidance of their Dom/me.
The collar is a sacred thing, and not to be taken lightly, when donned it symbolises a bond between Master and sub. When the bond is broken by the Master I have seen many a sub devastated for reasons stated above. And vice versa for some Masters....but not as many.
