Bio: Kurama is a fox demon also known as Yoko (demon form). One day, a hunter wounded Kurama for his thievery, so he went to Earth and was reincarnated as Suichi(his human form). Kurama was planning to wait for his spirit energy or body or whatever to recover and become a thief once again. There was one HUGE problem though. While on Earth, Kurama began to learned love and had gained feelings he had never gotten from anyone. Eventually, Kurama began to accept his role as Suichi and came to love his Earth mother as if she were his own mother. After 15 years had passed, Kurama's mother got extremely sick. He didn't want his mother to die so Kurama went with Hiei and Gouki with plans of retrieving the Forlorn Hope, a mirror which would reflect it's users greatest desire during a full moon but with a catch...  Stolen just days after Yusuke's appointment as Spirit Detective, Kurama left the group to use the Forlorn Hope. He told Yusuke he would give the mirror back after his wish. However, the Forlorn Hope wanted something big for grating the wish. Kuruma would have to give up his life in order to save his mothers. Kinda sucky isn't? Anyways, Yusuke, knowing what a mother looks like after she's lost her son, jumped in and told the mirror to take his life instead. The Forlorn Hope acknowledged Yusuke's noble deed and granted the wishh without taking any life, recovering Kurama's mother to full health, and earning Yusuke's respect.

Bio: Yusuke meet Hiei on one of his first missions. Hiei, who, despite his size, proved to be quite a challange for Yusuke. Hiei is REALLY short but can move REALLY fast. Faster than a speeding bullet!!! Wait..that's Super-Man. Anyways he is really fast. The normal human eye can't see him moving at his top speed. Behind Hiei's headband thingie is a third eye called the Eye of Jagan. (ewww...third eyes are creepy!) This allows him to have incredible, superhuman sight. In his transformed demon state, Hiei's entire body is covered with eyes that allow him to see anything around him. Problem is that the eyes are useless if the main eye on his forehead is blinded, something Yusuke learned when Kurama covered it with blood from his injury during Yusuke and Hiei's first fight. Later on, Hiei joins up with Yusuke in Maze Castle so his record could be cleaned for the Spirit World. Hiei is one tuff nut to crack but he really respects Yusuke and Kurama.
