Blizzaga | 16 MP | The strongest form of the 3 ice attacks. Blizzaga works well on fire based fiends. it must not be used against ice based monsters for it will only heal them. |
Blizzara | 8 MP | Causes a medium amount of damage. Works well on fire based fiends. |
Blizzard | 4 MP | Causes a low amount of damage to fire based fiends. The weakest of the 3. |
Cura | 10 MP | Restores a medium amount of HP. Can cause some damage to the undead. |
Curaga | 20 MP | Restores a large amount of HP. Causes a lot of damage to the undead. |
Cure | 4 MP | Restores a small amount of HP. The weakest of the 3, Cure can also cause little damage to the undead. |
Death | 20 MP | Causes immediate death to one target. Can be ineffective to some fiends and does not work againts bosses. |
Demi | 32 MP | Reduces 1/4 of all the enemie's HP. It can be ineffective against some fiends/bosses. |
Dispel | 12 MP | Removes support magic from enemies. Effective on bosses who cast support magic unto itself. |
Drain | 12 MP | Drain takes away a small amount of HP from it's target and gives it to the caster. An effective way of healing yourself and causing some damage to an enemy. It does not work on some fiends/bosses. |
Esuna | 5 MP | Cures all kinds of status ailments. Can remove poison, berserk, confusion, sleep, darkness, silence, petrification and slow. |
Fira | 8 MP | Causes a medium amount of fire damage. It is most effective against ice based enemies like those found in Lake Macalania and plants. Must not be used against fire based fiends. |
Firaga | 16 MP | The strongest form of fire attack, it causes a lot of damage to ice based fiends and plants. It must not be used against fire based fiends/bosses for they only absorb this attack. |
Fire | 4 MP | The weakest of the 3. Causes a small amount of fire damage to ice based fiends and plants. Must not be used against fire based fiends and bosses. |
Flare | 54 MP | A non-elemental attack that causes a great deal of damage to 1 enemy. |
Full-Life | 60 MP | Revives a KO'd character at full health. Can instantly kill undead enemies. |
Haste | 12 MP | Increases the speed of one character. Casting haste on one character enables him/her to have more turns. |
Hastaga | 30 MP | A higher form of Haste, Hastega increases the speed of the entire party. |
Holy | 85 MP | Another strong non-elemental spell that causes a great deal of damage to undead fiends and bosses. Also gives damage to ordinary fiends. |
Life | 18 MP | Revives a KO'd character with a small amount of HP. |
NulBlaze | 2 MP | A support magic that enables the party to be immune from fire based attacks for one turn. |
NulFrost | 2 MP | A support magic that enables the party to be immune from ice based attacks for one turn. |
NulShock | 2 MP | A support magic that enables the party to be immune from thunder based attacks for one turn. |
NulTide | 2 MP | A support magic that enables the party to be immune from water based attacks for one turn. |
Osmos | 0 MP | Absorbs an enemy's MP. Useful when running low on MP. |
Protect | 12 MP | A support magic that increases a character's physical defense for a period of time. Works well while fighting in long battles with a lot of physical attacks involve. |
Reflect | 14 MP | Deflects a magic spell to the caster. If an enemy casts this onto itself, counter by casting Reflect and attacking yourself with magic. That way, all the attacks reflect to the enemy. Reflect can be removed with dispel. |
Regen | 40 MP | A support magic that slowly regenerates a character's HP. Can be removed through dispel. |
Scan | 1 MP | Reveals an enemy's HP, attributes, weaknesses, immunities and tips on how to defeat it and sometimes reveals their attacks. You should use Scan if you don't have a Sensor ability in your weapon. Sensor works the same as Scan. |
Shell | 10 MP | A support magic that works the same as Protect, only it increases a character's magic defense. Again, it only lasts for a period of time. Works well against magic casting fiends/bosses. |
Slow | 12 MP | A status spells that slows down an enemy's turn. And thus, gets let's your characters attack more and cause more damage. |
Slowga | 20 MP | A higher form of Slow. It works the same only it slows down all your enemies. |
Thundaga | 16 MP | The highest form of thunder magic. It can cause a huge amount of damage to mechanical enemies and water based fiends/bosses. Must not be used against fiends found in the Thunder Plains. |
Thundara | 8 MP | Can cause a medium amount of damage to mechanical enemies and water based fiends/bosses. |
Thunder | 4 MP | The weakest of the 3. Can cause little damage to mechanical enemies and water based fiends/bosses. |
Ultima | 90 MP | A non-elemental spell that can cause a major amount of damage to all enemies. Effective for any kind of fiend/boss. |
Watera | 8 MP | Causes a medium amount of damage to thunder based enemies. Must not be used againts water based fiends/bosses and plants. |
Waterga | 16 MP | The strongest form of the 3. It causes a lot of damage to thunder based fiends like those in the Thunder Plains. It must not be used against water based fiends and plants for it will only heal them. |
Water | 4 MP | The weakest of the 3 spells. Can cause little damage to thunder based fiends. It will cure water based fiends and plants. |
