ANNOUNCEMENT
Ethiopian rally in Brussels - Sep 22, 2005
The European Union observers mission has exposed to the world that the incumbent regime in Ethiopia is illegitimate. The people of Ethiopia are also saying their votes are stolen in a day light robbery by the Meles regime. Ethiopia is once again on the cross road of democracy versus tyranny. International observers are warning that Ethiopia is in a potentially dangerous situation.
"I think it is a tinderbox. This potentially could explode at any moment. It is a very, very dangerous situation," said Ambassador Tim Clark, a veteran of conflict resolution in Africa, and the European Union's special representative in Ethiopia.
To relax the ever growing tensions between the people and the EPRDF, the opposition groups have proposed a peaceful way out, of forming an interim/transition government, that has vehemently been rejected by Meles.
To protect Ethiopia from the potential danger, we have to push the Western powers to intervene and halt the regime's act of terror.
