NIFTY FIFTY
MEMORIAL/SURVIVOR
BREAST
CANCER QUILTTM
Our group called the Nifty Fifty
Quilters from Across America has made two of these red, white,
and blue quilts to bring awareness to breast cancer.
Since a quilter from every state has worked on
these quilts and have added the names of their friends and
families who have suffered from this terrible disease, we would
also like everyone from all 50 states to have the opportunity to
place names of loved ones on these quilts.
One of our NF I Memorial/Survivor quilts is
available to travel throughout the United States to quilt shows
so it may collect signatures of breast cancer survivors and
victims. If your guild would like to borrow our
memorial/survivor quilt for a show or if anyone would like to
add a name to the back of our quilt then please contact me at
[email protected]
I will add all names collected through the
internet to our second breast cancer quilt and anyone is free to
sign the quilt at our yearly Nifty Fifty Quilter's Reunion.
We will donate these NF I queen size quilts to
a Quilt Museum to raise awareness for Breast Cancer as soon as
the backs are filled with signatures .
Please contact us
if you have any ideas on how we can raise funds nationwide with
our other Nifty Fifty quilts. At this time we have 29 groups
following in our footsteps making Breast Cancer quilts.
Please
email Teresa for more information or questions on our quilt.
