Overrated Goodness
How silly the philosopher!  Many philosophers have pursued an idea of happiness and the means to obtaining happiness.  Why have the greatest of thinkers erred so greatly in their assessment of happiness.  Happiness is dependent on evil and torment, even to put it stronger I'll say this, that happiness is the child of evil.
Can you imagine a life of happiness with no pain or sadness?  At first it may seem ideal, this I once believed as well, but now I see this as absolutely impossible and could only result after the worst of hatred.  It isn't possible to have an appreciation of happiness without pain or sadness as a point of reference.  Without hardships, boredom will set in, and boredom can be worse that physical pain.
Without pain, health is taken for granted.   When you are sick, perfect health is imagined as paradise but when healthy we are bored.  We don't do the things when healthy that we imagine ourselves doing while sick.  It seems that health can only be loved when it is gone.  Is illness therefore a good or an evil?  Boredom is a greater evil than illness and boredom is a product of good health.  The greater the pain the greater the potential pleasure.  The stronger the anguish the more powerful the relief.  Fear is preferable to stability because stability leads to discontent, and discontent is an enemy to peace.  Hardships seem to bring us in to a reality where pleasures can be enjoyed.  The greatest good is to overcome the greatest evil.  Without the greatest evil, there can be no greatest good.  This is why evil is essential.  We need an obsticle to defeat or overcome in order to find happiness.  When no obvious obsticle is present we complain of lesser things, which under more difficult circumstances, might be overlooked.  Our greatest troubles in our lives are very petty, only because there is little hardship.
The world we have created is over materialistic and egotistical.  True happiness would be disastrous to the economy.  Discontent fuels the economy.  If you convince everyone that they are happy and content, the economy will die.  How can you sell something to someone who is content with what they have?  Somewhere somebody is spending a lot of time and energy to make sure it impossible for you to be happy.  That someone's livelihood depends on your misery and you must be kept unknowingly dissatisfied with existence, otherwise you will not easily make stupid purchase decisions.  The Capitalist must admire evil unless deception and selfishness has become blessed.
Safety creates isolation.  Hunger brings appreciation.  Good things it seems can bring bad results and what is considered as an evil may bring good results.  We are told to resist the temptations of evil but in order for evil to truly be tempting, evil must appear to be good.  All stories of god are not always what we considered to be good.  Many horrific stories are told following a jealous god.  It seems that right and wrong do not always parallel good and evil as expected.  What seems good can be wrong and what seems evil can actually be right.
Are religions good?  Religions create segregation.  These groups were once in isolation from each other and maintained unity within through rituals and attire.  Once two different groups meet, problems will arise.  One group may say that cutting hair is sacrilegious whereas the other group may reply that bald is a purification.  Why does a god who defies space and time care about when and what manner of worshipping rituals?  They fail to realize how their surroundings have influenced their beliefs and will war with a group with opposing beliefs. Fear is not an excuse to follow.  Show me a religion that encourages people to be sincerely nice to all people.  It rarely leaves the religious group itself.
Has anyone ever made it into any holy writings by quoting alone?  Those who think and understand will lead and teach while those who quote do not.
I do not understand this notion of good and evil or right and wrong.  They are inseparable and cannot exist without each other.  Why would philosophers overlook this?
Why worry about offending somebody?  Offend everybody!  If you are very offensive to everybody you will be doing people a favor for distracting him or her from their mundane whining of an existence.  Why be a petty thief?  Contribute to the ultimate good by striving to be the ultimate evil.  There can be no savior or hero without the presence of injustice, and without injustice life is unbearable.  Petty complaints will otherwise prevail.
Sometimes I foresee a war for the sake of war, without purpose, to relieve the stress of there being no war. Maybe the Great War of prophecy will not be a war of the mighty.  The leaders of the world are those with no morals who own the majority of the money. They are the weakest of the weak for their only strength is of manipulation and deceiving.
Wars create greatness.  Leaders whose legend defy time will be created and all people of the future will be inspired by their greatness whether they be on the side of right or wrong.  The empire of today is an empire of disease.  The human spirit has rotted right through the hearts of the people.  Our fantasies are individualistic and selfish, usually hoping for the lottery win so they they can take their turn looking down on others.  We are due for a great cleansing in this world.
Only a great hardship can deliver true happiness.
To ask for something to be done for you is for the foolish and the lazy.  Grab what you can instead, it brings satisfaction.  There is no paradise, it does not exist.  It is a fantasy of the weak.  Happiness brings out petty quarrels, envy and jealousy.  Why does fighting break out in a civilized society?  It is because contentment would bring out certain death to our ancestors, therefore we are instinctually set to a cycle of war. Our struggle to seek out happiness is self destructive.
One should question the concept of good and evil and see if not only if evil actually exists but whether goodness is real as well.  Something bad is needed in order for something good to exist.  Without bad things boredom leaves us with negative feelings.  As we crack down on our perceived evils, a hidden evil thrives in all of us. We must rid ourselves of the fantasy which is the existence of the good life, free of hardships.
All over the news we hear of the evil terrorists.  What makes one evil?  Is it anyone who dissagrees with you or does the individual have to see themself as evil?  If you are following a cause, believing that you are right, and you harm your enemy, you are then labeled evil, but you do not feel evil, for you have reason behind your actions.  It seems then that to call an individual evil is actually a weak arguement for a weak mind.  It is too simplistic and cartoonish to justify revenge by branding your enemy as a non human comprised of pure evil.  YET everyone follows blindly, without evidence of any actions, the word of their leaders, with the belief that all others are evil but themselves.
The easiest way for a villian to become a hero is to write a history book.  Sadly there is justification for everyones actions and even the most horrible creatures can be proven correct when they hold power.
