K.C.Channakeshaviah

K.C.Channakeshaviah (K.C.C. Iyya) graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Mysore in 1959 (National Institute of Engineering). Joined Chambal Project, served for six months. Joined Hindustan Construction Company in 1960. Worked on various construction Projects execution. Most of them were Hydro Electric Projects, Koyna Stage-I (Underground Power House), D.B.K. Railway Projects (including 26 tunnels 600 lac cum of open excavation), Lower Sileru H.E.W., Yamuna Hydro Electric Project Stage-II (Part-I) Underground Power House, HRT & Dam, First in Himalayas. Maneri Hydro Electric Project Stage-I, Peppara Dam Kerala, Papavinasham Dam Thirumala (A.P.), Lower Mettur Hydro Electric Works (4 Barrages & Canals PHs), Chamera Hydro Electric Project (Stage-I). Lower Periar Hydro Electric Project, Koyna (Stage-IV). Calcutta Metro Rail and overseeing various other Projects, as General Manager Executive from Corporate Offices.

Joined Jaiprakash Industries Limited in 1993 after retiring from HCC. Worked in Sardar Sarovar H.E.Project, Dul-Hasti H.E. Project, Vishnuprayag Hydro Electric Project, Tala Hydro Electric Project (Bhutan). Giving guidance for execution of Hydro Electric Project matters i.e Tunnels, Underground Power House and Teesta (Stage-V) Hydroelectric Project involved difficult works of H.R.T. through adverse rock condition and now in Karchham-Wangtoo Hydro Electric Project in Private Sector under Build & Operate basis till now.
