*Cardcaptor Sakura = ~ Sakura Kinomoto, a spunky fourth (ten years old) grader at Tomoeda Elementry School who loved P.E. and hated Math. Her life changed in an instant thanks to a mysterious book, The Clow. It contains magical Clow Cards, keeping the world safe from their evil powers. With Clow Cards, guardian Kerberos asleep at his post, Sakura accidentally releases the Clow Cards upon the world. Now appointed the Cardcaptor, it's up to Sakura to recapture all the cards and save the planet. Her dad is an archeology professor at a university. Her mean brother is Toya. Toya's friend and Sakura's crush is Yuki. Sakura's mom is Nadeshiko, who died at 27. Her best friend is Tomoyo, whose mom (Sonomi [Amamiya/]Daidouji) is CEO of a large toy company.
*Clover = by Clamp. A retired agent is asked to do a special job -- take a young girl to her destination. But there are others after her as well, and their journey proves long and difficult.
*Code Name wa Sailor V = a manga of a girl named Aino Minako and her talking cat, Artemis. Minako transforms into Sailor V, the soldier of justice (or is it love?), and together they fight to stop the Dark Agency and foil its evil plots.
