If tisn't here, chances are . . . tis in the Manga section!! Or it doesn't exist?
*Yamamoto Yohko: Starship Girl = A thousand years in the future, people have a very civilized way of settling conflict: Each side picks a representative, gives them a spaceship, and has them fly against each other. The team that loses the skirmish also gives up their side's claim. After losing repeatedly, one team begins a desperate search for a powerful, capable pilot of extraordinary skill . . . and luckily, they find Yamamoto Yohko!
*Yohko Devil Hunter = ~ a girl in high school who has just become a devil hunter (I think the 108th one something around that number) and she has to fight devils to save the world.
*YS Legacy = A daring young man named Adol Christen goes off to solve mysteries, help towns, fulfill a prophesy about his name, and rid the world of evil. He sets off on a mission to gather the legendary books of Ys, which hold the secrets to all the good and evil in the world. This anime is very much like a video game.
*Yugioh = a boy named Yugi duels people with cards in order to save his grandfather from his kidnapper Pegasus. Later, after Pegasus is defeated, Yugi does other things, but I haven't seen those episodes, so I don't know.
*Yusha-O Gaogaiga Final = ?
*Yuyu Hakusho (Poltergeist Report) = Its about a boy named Yusuke Urameshi who is a total trouble
maker when he was alive but is killed saving a little boy. Now he is in the Spirit World, too good for hell, but not good enough for heaven. There's a girl in a kimono that rides a broom (like Chronos in Greek Mythology) named Botan (sp?), and she takes him to (I think his name is) JR, who sends him to help ghosts find their way to the afterlife, help people cope with their lost and various other things. Yusuke works as a half-dead, half-alive agent for Koenma, son of the ruler of the Spirit World (King Enma, the guy who is like Hades in Greek Mythology). He fights demons with his friends Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama to either save the world or for personal reasons.
