Their relationship takes an unusual turn one day when they're visiting Sapporo and the city comes under assault by a host of foreign planes. As Shuuji runs for cover to avoid falling bombs, the attacking planes are suddenly shot down by a mysterious weapon that turns out to be Chise.

*Sailor Victory = I don't think it has anything to do with Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, but it might.

*Sakura Diaries = ?

*Sakura Taisen [Wars] = from the creator of Virgin Fleet; the year is 1920; at Shanghair, near the golf of Taiwan, a girl named Sakura Shinguji is sword-training. Her father (Kazuma) taught her how to use the Cherry Blossom Attack. She practices by trying to destroy a bolder behind a Cherry Blossom tree, without making a single petal of the tree fall down. She eventually succeeds after much failure. Her sword (called Spirit Sword) guides her to Tokyo, where she meets a group of girls in the Flower Division who are pioleting Spirit Armors, and also in a play called "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Sakura joins the play and helps piolet the one of the Spirit Armors (mecha), much to Sumire's disaproval. She's jealous of Sakura. Kouran has purple hair in a braid and wears glasses. She fights with a gun and does many things with science, though most of her experiments are not a success; she's kind of a ditz. Iris is a little blonde girl who piolet a yellow Spirit Armor. She fights with tellepathy. Kanna is a red head muscular girl who fights with her own strength. Maria is her friend; she has short white hair and fights with sword and her own strength. Jean-Paul is the teddy-bear that Iris talks to. Ichiro Ohgami is a guy who used to clean the boat deck or something, and he just got hired to be the captain of the Flower Division. All the girls have a crush on him, except for Kanna, who hasn't met him yet, cuz she left earlier cuz she was fed up with having to work with Sumire (they kept getting into arguments).

*Samurai 7 = As villages perish under the thumb of the Nobuseri -- a cruel race of warriors who are part men, part machine -- a young priestess named Kirara travels the countryside gathering stray samurais. But while her hope is that these brave souls can rally to save the land, she's not certain they can put their differences aside. Set in a postwar, futuristic world, this animated tale is based on the epic Akira Kurosawa film The Seven Samurai.

To make matters more complicated, friends and rivals quickly get mixed up in the romantic rumble, helping and hindering Tenma and Harima pursue their separate ideas of true love. Raging hormones and unspoken feelings collide as this crazy love triangle unfolds, creating mucho laughs. A wise man once said, "Love is a Battlefield." In Yagami High School, truer words have never been spoken.

*Scrapped Princess = called that because this young princess was prophesized to bring the end of the world when she turns 16, so her father (a king) tossed her off a cliff. She survived though, and now when she's 15, she travels with a woman and a man she calls her brother and sister -- Shannon (THE MAN) and Raquel (the woman). She didn't know her name obviously, so Shannon and Raquel just called her Pacifica. People are trying to find kill her so she won't bring the end of the world.

So Kazuma and his compatriots roam the wastelands, surviving only with the aid of their amazing new abilities (called "Alter").

*Seikai no Senki [Battle Flag of the Stars] = ?

*Serial Experiments Lain = In a world of the not-so-distant tomorrow, 8th grader Iwakura Lain discover s that the borders between the solid, real world and the connected, virtu al world of the wired may not be as distinct as once thought. When fourteen year old Yomoda Chisa committed suicide, no-one expected to receive e-mail from her after the event. Lain discovers that Chisa ma y not be dead... only that she's discarded her body, and her conciousness now exists within the expansive, virtual world of the wired. But Lain discovers something dark about this interconnected world... that her virtual counterpart may have existed even before her solid self became reality... and that the wired world might even be able influence the world of the solids.

*Shadow Star Narutaru = During her summer holiday, Tamai Shiina, a cheerful schoolgirl, befriends a strange-looking creature she names Hoshimaru. When Shiina returns home after the summer to go back to school, she begins meeting kids from a secret psychic society who also have befriended creatures like her new pal. But she soon finds out that not all these creatures and their masters are as friendly as Hoshimaru. At first it seems this show is for kids, but it definitely has serious, adult topics in it. Shiina is not as innocent and carefree as she appears either.

*She and Her Cat = anime short created by Maktoto Shinkai on his home computer (same person who did Voices of a Distant Star). It's a cat's tale about his relationship with his female owner.

*Shinesman = spoof on Sailor Moon and Power Rangers; Officeworkers or high school students (somewhere around that adult age) are also known as Shinesmen or something that are protecting the world from evil I guess. The evil are these people from another planet -- There's a girl and two guys; one of the guys is the brother to that girl. The guys wanna keep a low profile to stay disguised, but the girl wants to make big scenes to show off. For some weird reason, the girl sponcers a TV show about super heroes like Shinesmen, but they are called something else. The Shinesmen are named Sepia (yellow), Moss green, Salmon Pink, a Red one (who's the leader and main character I think), and maybe some others, but I don't remember.

There are these series' -- Slayers, Slayers Next, Slayers Try, Slayers Dragon, Slayers Wonder, Slayers Return, Slayers Perfect, Slayers Gorgeous, Slayers Special, and Slayers Excellent.

*Slayers Next = Lina Inverse and her friends were in this village. I think it's something like Fanille. In Fanille, guys are not allowed to live there. So Lina's guy friend (maybe there are more than one, I don't remember) has to pretend to be a girl by dressing up as one. This princess was destined to be a shrine girl, but she didn't want to live a false life. She ran up to that guy who was pretending to be a girl, and asked to be saved. S/He did a fire ball attack, and destroyed her attacker or whatever. Lina and her friends went to the castle place for a reward, but instead the queen says that they are not welcome, and says they should die. Later, Lina and all her friends are all outside with the princess I think. This ghost thing comes, and the slayers try to fight it, but it just disappears. Finally they think they have gotten it when it splashes into a fountain. I don't know if it's the same fountain or not, but there's this other fountain and the princess walks in it, and wants to destroy this statue thing to prove she doesn't want to be a shrine girl. But one of Lina's friends talks her out of it. Then that ghost thing appears in the fountain and freezes them all up. The same person who talked the princess out of bashing the statue does a fire attack to melt the ice. In the end, the "princess" turns out to be a boy. The queen knew that; she just raised him as a girl cuz it was the law not to have guys there. So when the "princess" reveals her/himself, most of the other people around start taking off their shirts and declaring they are guys too.

*Sol Bianca = Five women (Feb, April, Mayo, Janny, and June) take this pirate space craft called Sol Bianca, accidently pick up a male stowaway, and fight these things (I don't know what they're called). It's very similar to Bubblegum Crisis, minus the hardsuits.

*Solty Rei = Solty Rei, an android with superhuman strength, has lost her memory in Dome Shell City, a futuristic world where the rich lord over the destitute. After saving his life, she is adopted by bounty hunter Roy Revant, and together they fight to uncover the truth behind the faceless corporations controlling society. Now living with assistant detective Madoka Narumi, his brother's widow, Ayumu gets caught up in the mystery of trying to find out what happened to his brother with help from Madoka and his school friend who writes for the school paper (Hiyono). It seems Ayumu's brother's disappearance has something to do with the Blade Children, who regularly kill people and make Ayumu go through puzzles.

*Spirit of Wonder: Miss China's Ring = ?

*Sprite = ?

*Srungle = aired in 1983; has non-humanoid mecha

*Star Blazers = aired in the U.S. in the late 1970's and early 1980s.

*Strange Dawn = character designs by Akihiko Yamashita; two Japanese high school girls stumble into a war between groups creatures that are ~ two feet tall and wear what look like footie pajamas. They have deep voices.

*Street Fighter Alpha = ?

*Strawberry Eggs (I My Me!) = The main story is of Hibiki Amawa, recent graduate and dreams of being a great teacher. Having just moved in and being broke, he goes out to the local private school to fill an open position. He fails to realize that the school only hires female teachers and in fact the Vice Principal is actively trying turn the school into an all girls school. Hibiki plots with his landlady (whom he owes rent to) to dress like a woman, and show up the man hating Principal. Eventually, Hibiki connects with the students, and they come to have a great teacher-class relationship. Being that this series is set in a school, there are the requisite sexual jokes, short skirted school uniforms, and of course the lecherous older men trying to get a peek at the young women. That being said, there is virtually no violence, aliens, plots to destroy the world and is safe for more mature 13+ viewers.

*Strawberry Marshmallow = Young friends Chika, Miu and Matsuri do everything as cutely as possible in this super-sweet anime aimed at teenage girls. In between adorable scenes of the trio at school and play, this sugary anime follows the preteens through a number of lively adventures. The warm fuzzies flow as the girls keep tabs on Chika's nicotine-addicted older sister, Nobue, and adopt a quirky fifth-grader named Ana into their cutesy clique.

*Sukeban Deka = ~ a girl who fights crime with a yo-yo. It ran for three seasons in 1985-1986.

*Sunvulcan = aired in 1981; its mech was formed from two vehicles combined into one I think

*Superdimentional Cavalry Southern Cross = ?

*Suzuka = the story of Yamato, a carefree country boy who transfers to a new school in Tokyo. He stays at an all-girls apartment building since he is related to the owner. Suzuka, a ninth grader just like Yamato, is the girl he was fascinated with ever since he saw her doing the high jump. But drunken women and his perverted "best friend" are always making trouble for him.
