*Earthian = Two angels descend from the heavens; their purpose is to
judge humanity and eachother. The first is Kagetsuya, an angel of
vengeance with a heart of fire. His partner is Chihaya, an angel of
compassion who has been cursed with black wings. Together they learn
the meaning of Heaven's wrath, Hell's madness, and Humanity's faith.
*El Hazard = Mokoto builds a machine and is taken to another dimension
along with 2 other students and a teacher and they must save the plant and
find a way back home.
*Elf Princess Rane = A high schooler named Go Tarakada who is obsessed with finding treasure finds an Elf Princess named Rane after trashing a priest's shrine. He finds out out from her, despite the language barrier, that a secret treasure is foretold to appear.
*Elfen Lied = Lucy is a destructive human mutant with telekinetic powers breaks out of a laboratory, killing every person she comes across. She is shot in the head and falls off a cliff, into the ocean. She comes to shore and meets two cousins, Kohta and Yuka. Since she got hit in the head, she lost her memories and became an innocent child-like girl who only says "Nyu;" so Kohta and Yuka name her Nyu. They soon find out that the police are looking for Lucy/Nyu. When she gets hit in the head again, she becomes the destructive being she was before. The scientists want her dead because they believe she will destroy all mankind. Kohta and Yuka also take in a homeless 14 year old girl named Maya. This anime is a lot like Chobits, only with more gore, nudity, and adult content.
*Eureka Seven = Renton Thurston is a 14-year-old boy who lived with his mechanic grandfather in a backwater town. Every day he dreamed of being with the mercenary "Light Finding Operation (LFO)" aircraft pilot group "Gekkostate" and riding "Trapar" particle waves-- a sport called "reffing"-- with their charismatic leader Holland, especially when faced with his father's acclaimed past or his grandfather's desire to protect him. When a young girl named Eureka riding the original LFO, the "Nirvash typeZERO", asks his grandfather for a tune-up, she inadvertently brings the attention of the military to the garage; as a result, the garage is destroyed and Renton is forced to deliver a new type of interface-- the "Amita Drive"-- to the Nirvash. After a heated fight in which the Nirvash destroys the military LFOs by unleashing an immense amount of power, Renton is invited into Gekkostate. However, he quickly realizes that behind the facade of a traveling group of mercenaries is a very bitter reality.
