If tisn't here, chances are . . . tis in the Manga section!! Or it doesn't exist?

*Cardcaptor Sakura = ~ Sakura Kinomoto, a spunky fourth (ten years old) grader at Tomoeda Elementry School who loved P.E. and hated Math. Her life changed in an instant thanks to a mysterious book, The Clow. It contains magical Clow Cards, keeping the world safe from their evil powers. With Clow Cards, guardian Kerberos asleep at his post, Sakura accidentally releases the Clow Cards upon the world. Now appointed the Cardcaptor, it's up to Sakura to recapture all the cards and save the planet. Her dad is an archaeology professor at a university. Her mean, but protective brother is Touya. Touya's friend and Sakura's crush is Yukito. Sakura's mom is Nadeshiko, who died at 27. Her best friend is Tomoyo, whose mom (Sonomi [Amamiya/]Daidouji) is CEO of a large toy company.

*Castle in the Sky = A girl is being chased by all these people because they want her powerful necklace. She falls from a plane; the necklace allows her to float down into the arms of a boy who catches her. Together they go to Laputa -- the castle in the sky. Stuff happens, but I don't remember. All I remember is the end -- the best part -- when they do the spell of destruction.

*Chikyuu Shoujo Arjuna (Earth Maiden Arjuna) = takes place in present day Japan where pollution, fast food, trash and a huge population infest the cities. Juna, a high school girl dies in a motercycle accident and is given a choice to become the Avatar of Time and protect the world from the Raja - strange monsters that seem to randomly rampage not only Japan, but North America as well. Reluctantly accepting and returning to the land of the living, Juna must find a way to stop the Raja... but the only way to do that is to discover for herself exactly what they are. This short series tells the tale of an average girl living in a big city, and through circumstances, she becomes aware of things she never thought twice about. Her boyfriend, Tokio refuses to let her go alone and joins her in the ultimate battle for Japan's survival. If they don't find a way to stop the Raja, then the rest of the world may soon follow suit. Environmentalism plays a stong role in the story and subtly yet wonderfully opens the viewer to the truths of today's world. It also opens our eyes to become aware of those around us as well as ourselves. After seeing Arjuna, you may never want to eat hamburgers again.

*Chinese Ghost Story = HK animation by Tsui Hark Studios

*Chobits = comedy about a country boy who goes to college in the city; everyone in the city has androids working for them (like servants), and the main character feels out of place without one. He finds a broken one in the dumpster though and takes it home. All she can say is Chii, so he names her that. He has to teach her Japanese and stuff. I think he and Chii fall in love later in the series.

*Chosha [sp?] Raideen = 1997 mecha remake

*Chrono Crusade = New York in the 1920s is rife with danger and drama -- from human menaces as well as supernatural ones. This popular Japanese anime series explores the city as it battles a profound but unnamed evil. Can the unlikely partnership between a gun-toting nun, Sister Rosette Christopher, and her devil sidekick, Chrono, rid the metropolis of its demons? Or will they, too, fall prey to the unbending clutches of sin, vice and entrenched malevolence?

*City Hunter = the manga is 35 complied volumes, and the anime is has 4 series, plus a variety of animated specials (The Motion Picture, Million Dollar Conspiracy, Bay City Wars, .357 Magnum, and Secret Service). Ryo ("Joe") Saeba works for the XYZ Agency as a bodyguard to 18-30 year old women. To sign up, you place your call for help on a particular bulletin board in Shinjuku (the westernmost downtown district of Tokyo) and you follow instructions to meet in some public place. He hears your case, then he decides whether your plight is worth his attentions. The downside to the deal is: he also decides if your body is worth his attentions. Women put up with him because a license to own firearms is nearly impossible to obtain in safety-obsessed Japan, but Ryo's pinpoint accuracy and extensive knowledge of all types of firearms prove that his license was well bestowed. As the series begins, Ryo's weakness for feminine flesh is kept barely in check by his agent and friend, Hideyuki Makimura, and the partnership of the tow men establishes Ryo's reputation as the most competent bodyguard in the business. When Makimura is killed during an early case, his tomboy adopted little sister Kaori takes over Makimura's job and enters Ryo's life. Ryo is uninterested in Kaori's boyish looks (she often goes in disguise as a man), so she is immune to Ryo's lechery but not immune to his charm. Since Ryo falls in lust with anything in a skirt, Kaori's quick-to-anger jealousy produces weapons out of mid-ar, such as the ubiquitous 100-ton hammer and the log-shaped bell clapper. Yet Kaori is blissfully unaware that she has already fallen for Ryo. She rationalizes her jealous rages as normal attempts to protect the client from Ryo's over-the-top lecherous attacks. Ryo loves Kaori as well, but masks his feelings to keep her out of danger.

*Corrector Yui = ?

*Cowboy Beebop = 1998 anime ~ space pirates or bounty hunters. The episodes don't really have any connection; they're just random stories about new bounties. But in the ending episodes there is some connection; Spike, the main character and bounty hunter, has a lost love, and he's trying to find her because she's in danger. There's this guy named Vicious (sp?) who's his enemy, and they end up killing eachother in the end.

*Crayon Shin-chan = a poor excuse for an anime. It has very bad art, and it appears to be all immature sexual comedy, much like American adult cartoons. Very similar to Super Milk-chan.

*Crest of the Stars = Jinto Lin, a young inhabitant of the planet Martine, is thrown into an interstellar mystery when his planet is taken over by the Humankind Empire Abh. Chosen to be sent to school to study Abh language and culture in order to become a diplomat and nobleman, Jinto is not pleased with his fate, but, nevertheless, he falls in love with a girl he meets during his schooling who soon proves to be the key to an incredible and dangerous mystery. The sequel to this is Banner of the Stars.

*Cutey Honey = a hentai ~ a girl who has special powers that she uses to save the world & prevent evil from contaminating earth/humans. I think.

*Cyber Six = (I'm not sure if this is an anime, and I've only seen the English version if it is.) A lady called Cyber 6 is capturing viles with green liquid inside them. Her enemies' victims are usually the ones who have the viles. She takes the vile from them, drinks the liquid, and leaves. She travels with her childhood friend who is now a panther called Data 7. She also gets saved sometimes by Adrienne's (Cyber6's disguise is Adrienne) co-worker, Lucus. A little boy named Jose is the son of the evil guy who wants those viles. The little boy orders around these huge other guys to try to capture Cyber6 who is always getting in their way. Cyber6 has a crush on Lucus, and Lucus has a crush on her, but they don't know eachother's feelings.
