2Cr 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an
angel of light.
 

2Cr 11:15
Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end
shall be according to their works.

COMMENTS:

As you can see, on the verse qouted its clear he's talking about false apostles.
 
 

2Cr 11:13
For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Bro. Manalo never claimed to be an Apostle, much less a
mong the SUCCESSOR OF THE APOSTLES. Never! For to be qualified as an Apostle - there must be a testimony regarding the life and ressurection of Jesus Christ.

These verses refer to the Roman Catholic Pontiff, Bishops, Preists, and Lay Ministers who claims to be workers of Christ, the Pope also claims to be an Apostle (Successor), Head (of the Church), God on Earth; basing mainly on the argument that since the Son is God himself, and the pope is the vicar of christ, then he (the Pope) is God.
