| A MOTHER'S STORY - Part 2 |
| After Tiffany turned three she was released out of Early Internvention to Wood County Head Start Program. This was to get Tiffany ready for school and something like preschool. They came to the house once a week to teach. Tiffany learned a lot from her teacher Marilyn Haines. She was in the program for two years. She learned her shapes, sharing, colors, cutting and gluing, how to write and read her name, etc. Marilyn was another person that was an answer to prayer. This program helped me to start Tiffany in kindergarten in homeschooling when she was five. She already knew the basics from headstart. Now I am teaching her 1st grade in homeschooling this year. To this day I continue to thank God for His hand upon Tiffany. She is a normal, healthy six years old and has a heart of gold. She tells everyone, "Jesus healed me and that is the reason I am here!" Sometimes I think back and remember the really tough times in Charleston but there were two very special nurses that Tiffany had which I owe much to and their names are Lena Hathaway and Tara Owens. They not only took excellent care of Tiffany but they offered me a lot of comfort and strength. Also there was a very special lady at Ronald McDonald House who I also owe much to and her name is Betty Reich. These three very special ladies were angels in disguise and I know God put them in my path for me. In some way I hope this helps someone that is hurting. I know what you are going through because I have been right where you are now. You seem all alone and no one to turn to nor understand what you are going through. That is what we are here for...to be a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. A lot of people say that they know what you are going through but they can't unless they've been there themselves.
