partly inspired by the lyrics "splinter left, focus right ("communicator"-bush)," i took a picture of (surprise) taylor hanson that was a bit somber, printed it out, cut it up into pieces, and then sketched and coloured it. magazines were perused and sacrificed for the letters. the drab, grey background was made by a tortillion stick (is that what they're called? i'm trying to sound knowledgeable here :p) i had used to smooth over the black areas of the drawing.
