TRIAD
www.triadthemovie.com

A movie by Chris Folkens. Version 2 of website launched Spring 2003.

The first attempt at pseudo-Flash resulted in a cool layout with easy navigation. Graphic work reflected the spookiness of the film. The site is full of content, and will give you minutes of enjoyment. Email Chris to purchase a DVD of the film.

DUAL FILMS
www.dualfilms.com

The work of Chris Folkens. Version 2 of website launched 1/05.

The original Dual site was great in its own right, but the current serves a completely different purpose. Featured on the site are clips of Chris' production work. Chris' favorite blue tint on black is used, as seen on the original TOXIN. Intricate details make this one a keeper. However, someone please help me figure out why we have problems with playing some of the movies!

TOXIN
www.dualfilms.com/toxin

A movie by Chris Folkens. Version 2 of website launched 1/05.

The website features a rectangle-based scheme in a largely monochromatic blue tint with full color for highlights. Several days of trial and error led to this version, which is in essence just a linearization of the original, but is cleaner, more coherent, and far more attractive.

RANGER DESIGN TEAM
www.geocities.com/nicolosi81

The work of nicolosi81. Version 3 of website launched 1/19/06.

After the original attempt to create something in just black and white, I decided that I needed to do something with color. A better layout was also necessary.  It's simple, clean, and reflects RDT better than the first. The current version is an update of v2, with the same top section, but below the yellow the site has been given more style. It also helps display the art in a way that better serves the viewer.

GEDEWE PRODUCTIONS
www.gedeweproductions.com

Entertainment publicity and support organization. Launched Spring 2005.

After many, many modifications to finalize a layout and style, Gedewe was pretty much complete by the time its first big event, "Final Act" came up. I think this will forever be a "site-in-progess," as I will continually tweak it to make it the most perfect website I know how to do.

MAESTRO DESEAN
www.maestrodesean.com

Site for musician/entertainer Maestro DeSean. Launched 7/23/05.

A new crown jewel, thanks to the <iframe> code I managed to discover. In addition, I used random image, scrollbar coloring, have allowed the user to choose the main  graphic from a series of photos, pop-up picture gallery, and linked to a guest book. This is definitely one site I pulled out all the tricks I know. The color scheme was based on Maestro's shirt color, making a nice connection there. It was a fairly easy site to do in spite of the detail. Awesome.

GREEN CHOOPY
greenchoopy.blogspot.com

My blog. Launched 3/20/05.

I'm not a fan of blogging. But I jumped on the bandwagon and make infrequent postings that few people read anyways. Most useful to me though is that I've tinkered with the template so that the site look is all mine and no one else's. Read at your own risk of boredom.

CHICAGO SINFONIAN ALUMNI INTEREST GROUP
www.geocities.com/chicago_
sinfonian_alumni

For Alumni of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Launched 9/05.

This is just a simple site with information about the group. Only remarkable thing is that I put a link that adds the page to the favorites list. There is a sister site for Central Illinois, but nothing's happening with that group yet.

THE ALPHA XI CHAPTER OF PHI MU ALPHA SINFONIA

Music fraternity at UIUC. Version N.8 launched Fall 2002.

Over three years this website underwent 8 known redesigns, each one progressing toward the greatness that would be known as "Yellow." An incredibly content-rich site featuring member and alumni bios, graphics archive, photo gallery, membership guide, and more gave Alpha Xi one of the strongest web presences in the fraternity. As new membership took over, the site was handed to a new webmaster who is indeed a master of technology. RDT is proud to see Alpha Xi showing how it's done online.

A MOMENT SO CLOSE

A movie by Chris Folkens. Website launched in Spring 2002.

Simple, and simply pretty. An emotional red brings out the heartache depicted in this short, award-winning film.

SUDDEN IMPAQ, INK.

Performance organization at UIUC. Website launched Fall 2002.

SII is the brainchild of Gerry "Maestro DeSean" Welch; it is an organization devoted to many forms of artistic expression in performance. The site was meant to be graffiti on a wall. Sadly it was never completely finished though it looked cool. Look forward to Gerry's upcoming pages soon.

NCTM STANDARDS PROJECT

CI 332 group project. Created Fall 2002.

This site is an analysis of the NCTM standard "Geometry and Connections." A hexagon theme relates to the activity focus on tesselations. This site is still active, but won't be changed again.

ALGEBRA UNIT PROJECT

CI 332 group project. Created Fall 2002.

This site is for a grade 4/5 algebra unit, featuring 15 lessons, a content map, unit project, and links to resources. Dice are the theme, since it's math related. It wowed everyone... probably because no one could match it. This site is still active, but won't be changed again.

GREEN ST. RECORDS

The Big Ten's only student-run record label. Version 3 launched Spring 2004.

After several misguided attempts, the organization's rockin' personality came out here. Featuring an exciting, energetic theme, GSR announced its debut compilation with style. RDT currently does not maintain this site, but enjoys listening to their second compilation album, "Playlisted."

MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC DEPT.

Informational page for students, teachers, and community in the Milford Public Schools.

This was a very quick site to create. A contemporary rectangular design with instruments and the school mascot define the page layout. The bad news is that it never got posted, and some kids decided they'd make their own. Riiiiiight.
