This is the beach at the Hilton. Near the south end of Cancun Island, the wavess are stronger (red flag). Hilton has a great poolside restauarant with good Happy Hour specials. :) |

From here you can see the curve of the main strip of Cancun. The Mexico flag in the background is about as big as my parents' house. All the hotels try to sell tour packages and booze cruise tickets. |

The public beaches, usually filled with locals, are great places for watercooler parties and beach volleyball. We met some cool chicks who later took us out salsa and merengue dancing :) |
