| Here's me chatting with the host of the show. This first round of the competition was held Dec. 18th, the week after I got back from India, so I was still groovin' in my Indian suits. I think it makes me look a little fat, but it's SO comfy! | |||||||||||||||
| For the competition I sang "YueDing" by a Chinese artist, Zhou Hui. The song is about a girl who wants to break up with her boyfriend because it's holding her back from living her own life. | |||||||||||||||

| My classmate, Jens, sang after me in the first round but was cut from the next progression. I made it to the second round but they wanted me to extend my stay in China through Jan/Feb and I just wanted to go home already (celebrate the holiday season with my family) so I politely declined. | |||||||||||||||
